I really wanna know what the deal is with these two guys/vamps(?) that were flanking Armand during the concert:
Just before Armand turns to leave, we can see his eyes vibrate, which suggests he might be using some telekinetic ability, maybe to draw these two away with him?
we see this guy follow him out. and then they're both tailing Armand out in the street.
then Armand makes that staggering gesture when he knows Daniel's behind him. At first I was so focused on the strange aspect of the walk, I didn't realise it was actually him signalling for these two to leave him. They turn and cross the street the second after he does it, so it looks like he's controlling their movements.
He points. They turn.
And then they leave, so Armand can talk with Daniel alone. <3
Armand truthers or something else, who knows, but the gremlin's definitely up to something.
I love how this show uses art, and I thought it was fun that the painting Lestat uses to represent Magnus at the table in last night’s episode,
is The Number of the Beast is 666 by William Blake, but upside down.

Realllyyyy Really thinking about Louis's transformation versus Nicki's. Both in book-verse, but also in what little implications that we get from show-verse. Just incredibly interesting for me to think about.
Nicki's transformation is a chaotic, desperate struggle in the comfort of their very own home; Louis' transformation is a quiet, gentle embrace surrounded by carnage. Nicki begging to be loved and to be given this gift; Louis needing to be eased into it, both the idea of being loved and being given the gift.
Nicki going silent in his suffering and in absorbing his new form, not even expressing whether he delights in his new vision and senses. Hunting well and coping by trying to justify what evil is inside his body; Louis feeling the spark of immortality with a joyful smile (the "There's the spark" scene has my heart), dazzled by how candles flicker and how the world feels around him. Resistant to hunting humans, and coping by trying to make peace with what evil is inside his body.
Louis was the first person Lestat ever transformed after Nicki, what reservations and fears Lestat might have had, the possibility of bringing someone into immortality again. And a man so similar to Nicki too? Would he end up just like him? How could this time be different?
In a way, Nicki was despair where Louis was hope.

would you look at that, fandom.com has started adding completely content-blocking popups to their page that totally prevent you from using the site unless you turn ad block off.
it sure would be a shame if people went to their URL bar and typed "anti" in front of "fandom.com" in order to go to the antifandom.com mirror of the page they were trying to reach, which shows all the same content but without any ads,

I kissed him. I pressed my lips to his and I held this kiss for a long silent moment. And then I gave in to a silent wave of feeling, and I took him in my arms. I held him tight against me. I felt his unmistakable silken skin, his soft shining black hair. I heard the blood throbbing in him, and time dissolved, and it seemed I was in some old and secret place, some warm tropical grotto we’d once shared, ours alone in some way, with the scent of sweet olive blossoms and the whisper of moist breeze. “I love you,” I whispered. In a low intimate voice, he answered: “My heart is yours.”
