Just an awesome, ongoing culturejam-ish prank on MTV, Pitchfork and all the other hypercorporate so-called music so-called journalism and distro companies. Sometimes I wish DR was more mlitant, but going on their shows and refusing to give a serious interview repeatedly and instead just having fun is such a good "fuck you" to those vultures. Dap's speaking Dapanese saying: "We don't respect you at all and we won't acquiesce by taking this seriously. You contribute nothing valuable to the Zeitgeist but profit astronomically from the spectacle. Fuck y'all." Watch it, it's funny.
