Congrats on 900! I’m so happy to see some BC blogs going even though the show is on hiatus. Can I please have a romantic BC matchup? I’m a 28 year old straight female. I’m sarcastic and love a good joke, but when it comes to getting stuff done I’m 10 steps a head of everyone and have prepared for every outcome I can think of (I blame anxiety and a type A personality). I have a high moral compass and will call ppl out on things that are wrong/could hurt someone. I’m very conscious on how others feel but not good at taking care of myself. I’m a biochemist and am more technical than artistic. In my free time I like to either play video games, cook or practice mixed martial arts (I have a second black belt and usually take my frustrations out on a punching bag). I also enjoy showing my affection in the form of thoughtful gifts or actions! Thank you!

I could see Nozel admiring your technical and logical mind. He would want a partner who was smart and could hold their own, and you check all the boxes!

Gordon would want nothing more than to make you happy, and loves that you are willing to stand up for what is right. Maybe one day you stood up for him, since he tends to be a bit soft-spoken, which made him smitten~

Vermillion Bath Theory

Theory time: it's well known the Vermilions like their baths, but how many baths does their estate have? My theory is there was only a few grand ones at the beginning. it didn't matter too much except teenage Mereo being unapologetically bold would just walk naked into what ever was the hottest bath for the day even if it was marked for the men that day. There was talk about getting an additional bath which turned into several baths when kirsch started getting his powers. There would be times where Fuego came home from a hard day of training, only wanting to relax in a bath just to find the tub COVERED in flower petals. They're almost as difficult as glitter to get out. The day came though when Kirsch actually used multiple glitter bath bombs in order to amplify his beauty. it got into the water system and there was glitter in all of the baths. That was the first time Fuego and Mereo noped right out of a bath.

Okay, Is anyone going to address this outfit? Just how many feathers does he need? What bird did he get these from? My hunch is an emu cause they're large enoughfor these feathers. But for some reason an just isn't regal enough for his royal blood. Did he do a day of training where he hunted for a new outfit? On does the Silva family just have a farm of birds for feathers? I can't imagine his cape wouldn't get damaged after battle so there must be a feather supply at hand. Or maybe, just maybe he gets them from Dorothy and the coral peacocks and that's the reason she knows him so well.

@thespiralgrimoire why did I pick emus? Honestly because emu is easier to spell than ostrich. But also emus are kinda bastards. What other bird has had humanity wage a war against it? Ie the great emu war in Australia. But I’d also like to think they’d be as fickle as llamas and Nozel is the only one brave enough to go in and not get attacked.

Time goes quick, but as in I physically don’t remember anything from November 2020 to February 2021. I ended up overworking and burnt out to the point where I couldn’t make new memories and dedicated almost every moment to work, which obviously isn’t healthy and I had to go through a round of TMS to put everything back in order. So over the last few weeks as part of my recovery I’ve been getting back into Black Clover and just caught up with the anime (late to the game I know). I don’t know how active the Black Clover fandom is on tumblr anymore, but I really hope you guys accept me back and start sending in requests and thoughts on stuff. I’m slowly catching up in the manga so what maybe old for you is totally brand new for me.  So to any Black Clover blogs I can recall off the top of my head, how active is the fandom now? I know you tagged me as a black clover blog but I’m sad to say I have been out of the loop for a while now as I took a break from reading all manga and am sorely behind! Therefore I don’t think I can say much for what’s going on in the fandom side, apologies… However, I would love to send in asks and talk with you a lot more! hello 🔥 I don't know if you saw the manga spoiler that came out today and shows the fuegoleon in his new uniform. ps: he looks taller and more beautiful

Okay, so I know I’m so, so, SO late to the game. I’m getting caught up with everything. And I although I do agree Fuego always looks beautiful, what the actual heck is going on with his tunic?

Cape design is cute with the scalloped edges, but seriously the tunic print reminds me of curtain fabric. Like Fuego forgot to ask for a uniform upgrade and at last minute had to throw something together and grabbed the nearest thing. Why couldn’t he take a note from Jack and get skimpier? It’s actually surprising though to see that he actually changed uniforms because even as a kid him and Mereo had the same uniform design all through out. (My thoughts is it was easier for their parents just to buy the clothes in bulk because they kept burning holes through them).

I am still wondering if the vermillion siblings "eye-liner" is actually eye-liner or if it is literally a part of their skin 😶

I physically spit out my drink at your comment about Mereoleona putting on Fuego’s eyeliner while he was in a coma. I would think she’d be more likely to quickly scribble on his face and call it done. Leo and the flashbacks of them as kids also has them having the “eye-liner”. I can’t see them having the hand eye coordination as kids to get a perfect even look, or cry baby Fuego not smearing it. I’m also going to assume they got it from their dad’s side of the family as Mimosa and Kirsch don’t have it. I don’t doubt that Kirsch would have the perfect cat eye though.

I'm very happy that, in the anime, they gave Fuego, Mereo and Leo (mainly Fuego hehe) a little focus, because they are my favorites. But I really wanted to show you a little more about the past, how the "rivalry" of fuego × nozel started or how they met, what their reaction was to each other or the training of the mereoleona with Acier. It really makes me curious.

You and me both Anon. I love that the royals are getting more screen time (especially Fuego as he was out of commission for the majority of season one and two, plus it’s nice to see some more of the sibling rivalry). I wonder what would have been if they did some filler episodes of the Silva siblings trying to mend broken bonds (-cough- @shinyshammie -cough-). Any who, here’s to one of the strongest rivalries in Black Clover.

These two knew of each other due to the fact of being distant relatives and practically neighbors but it wasn’t for several years that they actually knew each other.

The earliest memory they both have concerning one another is when they were 4 or 5 years old. Mereo had had “babysit” her crybaby brother because Theresa had actually taken a day off. Being the wild child that she is, Mereo naturally wanted to go train next door with Lady Acier but because Mereo also had babysitting duties, she dragged Fuego along only to dump in the Silva’s playroom.

Nozel’s favorite toy (considered a “baby’s first magic tool”) was a ball that floated depending on the amount and intensity of magic put into it. It was a light periwinkle with tons of glitter to make it extra sparkly (birds like shiny things afterall). Nozel tried to show Fuego how it worked because his mother told him to play nice, but in all honesty Nozel has never really had to share anything. 

This decision to share his favorite toy was the worse decision he’s ever made, and it would be the last time he has ever even thought of sharing something so precious, because Lil’ Fuego accidentally blew it up. Nozel wore that day that he’d get revenge which in turn into one royal trying to outshine the other at every royal gathering. (on the bright side, this did piss off Augustus like no other mother because the spot light wasn’t on him during these instances).

Nozel was so determined that he once decided to do the unthinkable. He always saw his mother praise and critique Mereo, and she always seemed to hold her own against Fuego. So to get a leg up at the age of 10, he asked Mereo to train with her. It would be Nozel’s first authentic near death experience and the last time he ever asked to train with her as children.

of course Nozel isn’t going to forgive Fuego so easily. Fun fact: Crows can hold grudges. I think Nozel has some crow in him. Just imagine him saying “caw caw MF”. (that’s what I think everytime he shows up on screen).
