TOTAL DRAMA KIDS COMIC PART 1

Here it is, from 2013, with all the grammatical errors and the naivety of a girl who has just learned how to use photoshop and had no idea how a canadian elementary school is, the first part of TDK comic.

(In hindsight, Courtney should actually be pinching Duncan's nose to stop the bleeding, but when I was a kid they made me hold my head up so I didn't get my clothes dirty, so please forgive the mistake!)

I was just graduated from high school and I was triyng to find a place for me in the world, my parents were getting divorced and a lot of bad stuff was happening in my life at that time (I remember crying a lot, maybe too much, when The Thing happened in Total Drama World Tour, because Courtney life was too similar to what was happening in my life to me and to people I loved, so I guess Gwuncan fans can forgive me if that is a ship I don't like and in my AU didn't exists).

But I remember that drawing this fan comic gave me a purpose every week to keep drawing and not give up on my dream to be a comic artist!

Also, the day I made the second page I brought home my bunny Taylor, who stayed with me until last january, so this post is dedicated to her too, who nibbled some of the original pages ❤️

I don't know if I'll manage to make anything because everytime I try to come back at Total drama I start feeling sadness, but also I remember that I made the TDK comic because I really really wanted to give my favorite characters at least a happy ending and I get that sharing it was a comfort for some other people too.

I should try to finish at least the spy game arc. Since this and other messages about it I tried to make some new storyboard, but there are something like 40 characters at once, so I don't know if I'll manage to draw It this summer 😅

Hello again! 🩷 After four (!!!) years of absence, I'm posting again! It was a really tough time, but last year I started to go to therapy, and now that I'm in treatment I feel so much better! You've sent me so many lovely messages over the years, and I really wish I could reply to everyone! I'm still not 100% and get overwhelmed easily, but I'll do my best to get back to work!

In the pile of old drawings I found this one:

I don't remember the dialogue, but I remember it was a short comic about Courtney and Duncan lost in the "random fandom school", here there were My Little Pony, Dragonball and Five Nights at Freddies (I think at the time of this there were only two games)

Also some old pages of the TD Kids comic (my bunny nibbled some of them):

I remember I didn't know yet how to draw or color digitally, so I made the pencil pages in class then flat colored them (I didn't even know english, so everything was written using google translate)

(Also the school was my old elementary school because I didn't have any idea of what a canadian school looked like 🫠)

Guess what? I'm in my old house for cleaning and I found some very very very very VERY very old pencil drawings from when I was "kikaigaku" on deviantart with TD Kids... I don't know if I'm ready to open this can of worms, but I saw some asks about them (It still amaze me that people remember it), so why not start to recover some very very very old sketch for once?

The children of Styx: Nike, Zelos, Bia, and Kratos; I wanted to give them a palette of colors based on metal: gold, iron, copper and silver.

I was actually trying to put them all together in a drawing with their mother, but I can't find a composition I like (their wings are too bulky), so for now they're flying alone. 😅

The expanded version of the doodle I made a few months ago, the one with Hera and Zeus arm wrestling while Hades, Poseidon, Demeter and Hestia cheer (and I've had that joke stuck in my head ever since o3o)
