Okay, I've just watched haunting of Bly manor and it truly is an amazing love story (*cries in a corner*)

BUT I wasn't sad because Dani is trapped with the lake Lady forever like many of you guys though.

I was sad obviously because Dani and Jamie were apart for the rest of their lives but if ghost stories thought me one thing is that "dead isn't gone".

And for me it was quite clear that Dani was ALWAYS with Jamie. When Jamie said "it's you, it's me, it's us" I think Dani kinda possed Jamie but not in a possessive way, she was always there in the background but never let Jamie notice her because she wanted her to be free and have a happy life without being trapped to her.

That leaves me with many questions abou what happens then with the lake Lady once Dani leaves her. I think Viola, and yes I'm saying Viola because the lady in the Lake persona cannot wish to be part of someone, as Jamie said she only wake up, walks and goes to sleep so I think something must have wakened in her to accept being part of Dani.

I believe Viola felt Dani's love for Flora, much like her own kinda love for her daughter so Viola just wanted to feel that again.

So maybe after years of being apart from Flora, (witch Viola's cloudy mind perhaps saw as her own daughter) she got tired and wanted to go back to the last place where she saw Flora = THE LAKE.

Anyway, I believe the course is not over, just had a reset so in like 300 years we'll have many more ghost faces (pun intended) at Bly Manor.

Dani isn't trapped with Lake Lady, she's trapped with Jamie.
