This is a blog soley dedicated to me loving Mor from ACOTAR. You can stay if you BEHAVE and treat EVERYONE WITH RESPECT. I am simply your humble Mor simp. pfp by @wwispart on Instagram
I'm doing this because I don't particularly want to change my bio.
Welcome to my SJM blog! As you can tell, I adore Morrigan and am mostly dedicating this blog to defending her. But I dabble in other areas of this hell fandom.
You can call me M, for simplicity. I used they/she pronouns. I'm much more comfortable with they/them but I accept the fact that I present feminine and am seen as a woman by most of society. So, it is what it is.
I've read all of the SJM books up to this point, and frankly enjoyed Crescent City the most.
My favorite series of all time is The Poppy War trilogy, and R. F. Kuang is my favorite author.
I'm also an aspiring author, despite spending more time reading than writing. On top of that, I've started as the DM for my D&D group to help build my worldbuilding skill set.
🚨MINORS DNI🚨
I talk about sex on this blog go away, I don't want child eyes reading my opinions on sex.
More rules under the cut:
Rules on this blog:
No moralization of your consumption. You can not gain moral purity by consuming only the most pure media.
Respectful debate is encouraged. I, personally, love every character for who they are. But if you're anti-whomever, that's cool too. Just don't be a dick about it.
Romance & Smut ≠ Literacy Crisis. I'm so tired of this boring take that only reading romance is contributing to the literary crisis. People who dont read, who will never want to read, and won't teach their children to read are contributing to the literary crisis.
Audiobooks = reading in my eyes. No matter how you consume the content, I'd love to hear your takes on it.
I do not know SJM personally, but I have the general belief that most people are good and try their best to do good things. That doesn't exempt them from criticism but I'm will not be engaging with anyone claiming she's the devil incarnate.
Lastly, and most important: MY CRITICISM OF SJM AND HER BOOKS IS NOT A PERSONAL ATTACK ON YOU FOR ENJOYING THEM.
navigating this website as a Jew in 2026 is so wild cuz like did that rando blog you never interacted with blocked you for a fandom take they didn’t vibe with or is it cuz you’re just not enough of a good Jew for them
Outside of all the rape fantasy in Haunting Adeline, the biggest reason that I don't want it adapted into a movie is that the book is so deeply antisemitic it isnt even funny.
You're going to look me in my PFP and tell me the main bad guy of your book is not the man who cut if someone's hands and raped your FMC with a gun. But a group of mysterious high up politicians that secretly run everything and sacrifice children to keep their power? Thats just fucking blood libel and H.D. Carlton is a fucking asshole.
So many readers see the Archeron sisters hair range from blonde to brown shades. Canonically they have golden brown hair but personally what shade hair do you see them having? (No wrong answers Im just curious)
Happy disability pride month to everyone with ptsd, happy disability pride month to everyone with complex ptsd, happy disability pride month to everyone who questions if their problems are big enough to count as a disability, happy disability pride month to anyone who questions if their problems count as a physical or mental disability, happy pride month to everyone who has a disability that causes people to stare, and to those whose disabilities are hidden, happy disability pride month to everyone who deals with any kind of disability physical or mental, you’re all badass and I want you to remember that this month okay
I really– and I mean really– hate the valg prince theory for Rhys. Not just because I don't think that he's evil. But because if Rhys did end up being evil, the valg prince theory would be the laziest way to do it.
And while we're on it, I really need you guys to stop acting like Rhysand needs to run the Night Court like a perfect utopian society. Because that would be unrealistic and boring if he was.
ALSO, I need some of you to take a god damned chill pill when it comes to him and Nesta. Because people are just allowed to dislike eachother. If you want everyone to be nice and love eachother like a hippie compound, I think that you should just find a different series to read.
The way some of the people here, on Tik Tok, and Instagram talk about these books, if I didn't know any better I would say you alm are allergic to the plot.
I've been having a conversation with someone in Instagram about Elain and how Nesta did not change her pelvis to carry Illyrian babies.
Basically, its boiled down to me saying that Nesta was right to not change Elain. Because Elain hadn't consented to that. If she did, then sure! Change away. But during the scene, Feyre was dying and Nesta knew what she did to herself. Without Elain knowing someone was changing her body, it would have been wrong for Nesta to do so.
And then the other person's point was that Elain never would have noticed. That she'd still be able to have non-Illyrian kids if she wanted. Therefore, Elain's consent doesn't matter.
And, I'm sorry, but I absolutely can NOT agree with that. Changing her body just so she can have Illyiran babies when she isn't at the moment even with ANYONE is a horrific overreach of personal autonomy. Not even to mention that whether or not Elain can have babies does not at all determine who she can love. A woman is so much more than if she can reproduce.
i'm rereading The Hunger Games right now, and Katniss is just so funny.
"yeah, gale is strong and handsome. i get a jealous when the other girls at school whisper about him when he walks buy. not because i like him or anything, just because he's a good hunting partner. he's also my only friend."
"oh yeah, i like madge. but we're not really friends. i mean we sit together for lunch and school assemblies. she also teams up with me for any sport events. but we're not really friends."
