Headcanon: Michael, after being scooped, didn’t understand what was wrong with him. He knew something was up, he couldn’t eat or function and he’d black out for long periods at a time. It was until he ejected Ennard from his body that he was able to gain full consciousness and understand the reality of what had happened. He does faint a lot afterwards due to his lack of, well, anything (not sure if the remnant would make up for it, but I say otherwise), and makes up for it with sleeping. He loved sleeping before but now it felt freaking extra good.

Anyways yeah, he’s a freaky guy and I wanna write more about what life felt like after getting scooped, I’d reckon the remnant acted as catalyst to keep him functioning like a human, aside from ourple.
