What fucking gets me is that Belift were like "hes just WAY too busy to do an album and stay in enhypen". And made US think that he was too busy in terms of filming MVs or an album only for Heeseung's announcement to be:
"It's a DIGITAL single."
So, we're not getting a music video ANYWAY. So what the fuck was BELIFT making him choose for? You're not even giving the full support even as a soloist??? He could have stayed in Enhypen since he's not even getting an album nor an Mv.

JUNGWON HAD WOKEN UP ON THE WRONG SIDE OF THE BED THIS MORNING.
First, he had forgotten about this assignment due the next day, so he had to spend the whole day doing that. Then, he found out they were all going to the tailors to fix suits.
When he asked Jake what that was all about, the reply was:
“Sunghoon's the one who organised it. For the Eraklyon party.”
Jungwon's face almost soured.
So, here he was, arms outstretched as a man measured his torso. Around him, on similar, raised pedestals, were the boys. And since they were all in a circle in this luxurious dressing room, he could see Sunghoon right ahead of him, looking unbothered.
If he had to explain why he was so pissed, he wouldn't be able to.
His mood took a down hill when he saw Sunghoon tagged in your stories. You obviously had your other friends, but he found it strange that Sunghoon had approached you.
Whether it was rational or not wasn't something he had considered. Jungwon simply felt the discourse rattling like metal, and he knew something about him didn't like it. Perks of feeling everything too much.
After the seamstress measured his arms, Jungwon lowered them, and Beomgyu came over, fabric creased with undone work.
“So, you look terrible,” Beomgyu said next to where Jungwon was still standing on the podium. Jungwon raised a brow.
“You know you're not done, right?” Jungwon gestured to another man who was writing away on his tablet.
Beomgy made a scrunched face of dismissal. “He writes slow. I'll be fine.”
Jungwon nodded once before stepping down from the podium. “Why are you pestering me?”
Mischief curled at the edges of Beomgyu's lips and into a wicked smile. Jungwon cringed.
“Because the tension is practically suffocating. I can't breathe,” he said, leaning closer to Jungwon and even leaning his chin on his shoulder, eyes wide and blinking. “I need to know more.”
Jungwon shrugged him off swiftly, the idea of talking about his problems annoying him. It was troubling because he couldn't even form any of his anger into coherent thoughts. It wasn't anger. It was frustration, and even then, he still couldn't lay out a road that explained why.
“There is no tension. Piss off, Beomgyu,” he muttered, eyes elsewhere. However, Beomgyu clicked his finger as if he knew what it was, and Jungwon’s stomach twisted.
“I know what it is. It's—”
“Jungwon.” Sunghoon's voice came behind Beomgyu just as he was about to reach a verdict. Jungwon snapped his gaze over Beomgyu's shoulder, seeing Sunghoon looming over like a storm cloud.
Beomgyu's lips were frozen in a part before he straightened and turned with a smile. “Hi, Sunghoon!”
“Hey, Beomgyu. I just need to talk to Jungwon.” Sunghoon glanced at the younger one, eyes gleaming with ice. “Alone.”
Again, Beomgyu looked between Jungwon, who was staring back at Sunghoon, and back again. He took his cue and left gracefully back to his seamstress.
Without speaking, Sunghoon walked past Jungwon, a silent demand to follow him away from the rest of the group. However, the other boys all noticed.
Sunoo and Riki glanced at each other. “Well, that's going to blow,” said Riki.
Sunoo nodded in agreement for once.
─ ⋮ ꒰ঌ ໒꒱ˎˊ˗ ✿
“What is it?” Jungwon asked as they arrived in a random hallway of the fancy marquee that was a tailor shop. The ceilings had creases as if it was made of fabric, and the pearly hallways were empty.
Sunghoon's back was to him when he stopped, and he turned slowly. The ice had melted into a quiet impatience that Jungwon couldn't understand.
“What's your problem?” Sunghoon hissed.
Taken aback, Jungwon straightened more. “What?”
A scoff left Sunghoon as he shifted, trying to find the right words. “You have been acting like I've done something to you.”
When Jungwon didn't give an answer and instead rolled his eyes, Sunghoon inched closer as the hallway fell with tension.
“Did I do something to you?” Sunghoon asked more quietly now, but with thorns.
“No. Except for the time you told on me and Y/n about Leerae,” Jungwon said, finding that this was only a fraction of what his reason was.
Sunghoon scoffed again, a very dark and exasperated smirk appearing. “You’re still on that? Is that what this is about?”
Jungwon stayed silent. The whole reason wasn't laid out, and he wasn't going to reveal it when even he didn't know where the root of his frustration was.
“Fine,” Sunghoon said with a sigh, returning to that icy demeanour. “I’m sorry if I put a rift in your relationship by telling her you were with Y/n.”
Jungwon's brows sank, a quiet disbelief rising instead of the gratitude that Sunghoon wanted to see. So, the older one stepped closer again, leaning in with knives in his eyes.
“But you should focus all that attitude on the girlfriend you do have. Not being petty. Focus on your relationship.” Sunghoon tilted his head before Jungwon could even reply, and he walked away.
Alone in the hallway, Jungwon didn't realise how hard he was clenching his fists, irritated at Sunghoon, but also irritated at himself.

─────────────────────────────────
THE COUNCIL MEETING WAS CHAOTICALLY ACTIVE, BUT ALL YOU WANTED WAS TO GO TO BED.
Each kingdom sat around the long, circular table with hostility burning through their eyes, and too many questions scorching their tongues. Particularly towards where Dani’s family were.
She barely frowned, but she was today. Annoyance practically exploded like a supernova, and you swear you could see the rays rippling off her skin.
Hyein was leaning back in her chair, bored out of her mind; Minji was checking her cuticles as if that had more interesting inscriptions; and Sunghoon sat with a straight posture, ready to tackle anything as the Prince of Eraklyon.
Your own family sat beside you, antsy because of the fundraising event, which led to the terrible misunderstanding of charity fraud. Your mother's perfectionist state wouldn't let anyone rest in the household.
Eraklyon, or rather Sunghoon's father—King Park Sohyun—stood and brought a tide of silence throughout the crowd. Everyone glanced at him.
“Firstly, I want to address the interrupting tabloids. I acknowledge how annoying they are, especially to Solaria…” he glanced at Dani’s family, where she only accompanied her dad.
Queen Jihye had moon powers, and since they were in the process of divorcing, she had gone back to her own home for the time being. She wasn't required to be here. The news had obviously stitched everyone into awkwardness.
King Jihyun of Solaria simply met Sohyun's gaze like metal, and he cleared his throat. “Moving onto the Melodian soldier…”
The Melodian Queen stood up gracefully, eyes on King Jihyun. “You can give him to us. We would keep him under surveillance. And it would keep the tabloids off your case.”
“I didn't do this without reason. Solaria has already tried questioning him before taking drastic measures,” began King Jihyun.
“And?” Melody's Queen urged.
“He doesn't remember anything.”
The whole room basically burst into a small, chaotic protest, people talking over each other. Honestly, if you hadn't seen it yourself, you would have been in disbelief, too, but the fairy dust showed how lost he was.
Jihyun spoke into his mic now. “I know it sounds absurd, but no matter what we ask him, he doesn't know what happened, nor would he tell us who he worked with.”
The room was still skeptical, whispers slithering among the crowd. Dani stood up now, taking the mic much more firmly.
“Fairy dust showed us that he was entranced. So, we're not lying, and we have more pressing issues as well. Our book was stolen,” she said.
That didn't help. Everyone practically glowered with bewilderment, but Dani deliberately didn't say Hanni's name since royals would jump on that, too. She sighed and put the mic down.
“We can't let the public know since it is fear mongering,” Jihyun declared before also taking his seat as the room eventually mellowed.
Your own fingers fiddled with the sleeve of your dress, violet blossoms climbing past your hair and onto your ears. Dusting them away furiously, you listened on.
King Sohyun cleared his throat, briefly banging the table top until everyone descended into silence again.
“We can keep him in Solaria, but without the privileges,” he said to Dani's father, who didn't reply. The annoyance was rippling from his body as well. “Moving on…”
“Melody's supplies have been stolen since the New Year’s Event. Has any more been taken?” He directed the question at Melody.
The Queen, now seated, shook her head with relief. “Nothing more as we know of. But we have been troubled with more outrage from the citizens. The silence irks them, and our explanations do not satiate them.”
The advisor from the side nodded. “We have rebuilt some homes, but they're scared. There's only so much we can do, especially when their trust for the government soldiers has… deteriorated.”
Right. Hanni had mentioned protests and stuff, and you had to respect the demand from the people.
“Protests have been lurking around other cities, and we're worried that it can trigger rebellion,” the Queen said incredulously, shaking her head subtly. “It would be uncontrollable if nothing is being done.”
Other people murmured in agreement. Rebellions usually had a chain effect if they weren’t solved. Other Kingdoms would find it a burden if this happened to them, too. You tried to hold the anxiety from reaching your hair.
Karunda, where Beomgyu sat with his own family, had the King speaking. “True. It would be good to restrain any action.”
King Sohyun smiled too sweetly at the other, fondly nodding along. Maybe because they felt sorry for all the things that happened to them. They had been through so much.
“Yes, and that moves onto how Karunda offered a truce with Melody. Wonderful to depend and trust each other despite everything that has happened. Eraklyon, as with others, stand with Karunda,” he said with the small dip of his head. King Choi smiled calmly in a way that said they were closer than words needed.
As the conversation moved around, past Leerae's family, and onto yours, your father spoke for your very meticulous mother.
“New weapons on the way, of course. And documents are all in order,” he said, since the company was under scrutiny.
You looked at the table, waiting for time to drown out your boredom, and when it was finally time, you waited outside for your friends to also arrive. Your mother and father were going to get some business done in another hall, so you went ahead.
When footsteps approached from behind you, you turned in relief only to see Leerae instead of your girls. Your shoulders slightly deflated as you smiled stiffly at her.
Even smiling felt awkward because she wouldn't respond to that either. She was a wall when talking to her during the potion project, which was undergoing prototypes.
“Hi, Leerae,” you greeted politely, but not because you wanted to.
She didn't speak at first, eyes resolute and unkind in a way. Impatience clouded her head as she came before you.
“I need to talk to you about something. With the potion project.”
“Okay. What's up?” You asked, somewhat relieved that she was actually engaging rather than being a rock.
“I've thought of this for quite a while. Ever since we started, honestly, and I don't feel my heart is with the healing potion anymore,” she said simply.
Your heart dropped, but you did everything to break the roots from blossoming in your hair. Instead, your confusion made you silent and a doormat for her words.
“Also, I don't feel comfortable. I'm setting a boundary,” she added, making you almost flinch back at that.
“Boundary?” You scoffed subtly. “What boundary? And what do you mean your heart isn't in it?”
Leerae sighed, irritation prickling her tone. “I have better capabilities than a healing potion,” she answered, her eyes digging into you.
“Then why didn't you give up earlier?” You muttered, wanting to shrink away.
“Because I was being nice and considerate to you,” she replied, head held high. But that didn't make you feel better in the slightest. She just called you a dumbass. And it nearly seeped into your face.
“And is that the only reason? What do you mean by boundaries?” You met her gaze, not liking where this was going.
She exhaled, gathering the right words as she stared at you with knives. You didn't back down, though.
“I don't feel comfortable. So I'm setting a boundary. And I would like it if you keep it.” Leerae began walking past you without any other clarity.
Incredulous, yoy turned, words wound up in lumps of sentences. “Leerae—?”
“Good luck, Y/n,” she said sharply before she was down the hallway and out of sight.
The pang of hurt felt like you were buried under rubble. Your chest felt pathetically tight at her dismissal. As if you weren’t a hard worker, a good student, or a good fairy. You had been working so hard to keep up with everything for everyone, but you still couldn't reach their level of validation.
And now this? Leerae just flicking you off her shoulder like you were dust?
Your breath trembled slightly, hands digging into your sleeve where they were around yourself, and deep purple flowers decorated the sides of your head, curling in frustration, and then sadness.
“Hey, Y/n, why are you standing there like that?” Minji asked happily before her voice shrank as she saw petals raining down your shoulders like a sombre, violet rain before turning to dust. Your back was to them as you swallowed back the sadness.
Turning to face Hyein, Dani, and Minji, you instantly stared at the floor.
“Leerae ditched me,” you replied.
“Doesn't she always?” Hyein asked with a small pout.
“Ditched being my partner…”
The girls gasped, as if it personally happened to them. Hyein, in particular, crossed her arms with stony eyes.
“That cracker.”

Oh, Sunoo was magnificent.
You knew that. Everyone knew that. Even he knew that. And how could he not? Mirrors were blessed every morning, people were stunned everyday, and you melted everytime you looked at him. So much so, that you would stand like ice sometimes, freezing your routine just to stare at him. As if you knew there were not enough hours in the day, nor enough minutes to be spared because… life.
But oh was he magnificent.
And it broke one day when Sunoo went to a business dinner one day. You, stupidly oblivious, had been at work and only came back now. It hit eight p.m and your bones physically croaked with age and effort, shoulders tight with knots, and lips sunken with every criticism you had to wade through. The last thing you needed was to be shocked or upset even more.
Therefore, you dropped your bag, waddled to the kitchen, and gave yourself ice water. That's when the door in the hallway jingled again, keys twinkling with excessive charms that screamed Sunoo. At the familiar singing metal, you forgot about the water and hurried out into the hallway to greet him after such a strenuous day.
But—oh.
You were terribly mistaken.
What meant to have calmed you absolutely did the opposite. Standing there with an unbothered stance was Sunoo.
But not just pretty—he looked delectable. His hair brushed back, a few loose like he wanted people to know he was out in the market but not for sale, his foxy eyes sharp as they focused on taking off his polished shoes, his nose angled in the warm light, and his lips glossy, redefined as another target you needed to kiss. Oh, his outfit too. Dark, thin stripes on a charcoal shirt, paired with a midnight tie that made you want to get lost in its void, all tucked into his black pants.
Holy shit.
He looked delicious. You didn't blink and couldn't dare to in fear that you would miss a single frame of his elegance. Your heart hammered, breaking whatever nonchalance you had built when around him. Those stone walls were forgotten and everything was rushing too much—the blood in your ears and the heat prickling pleasantly down your spine.
Sunoo glanced up and grinned in relief at seeing his favourite girl in the world. But then, his smile dropped as he came closer, keys on the table, and saw your lost eyes. “Lovey?”
His voice wasn't enough to break your dazed blinking. Sunoo, the precious soul, thought he did something wrong. To you, he had. But he didn't know that. Once in front of you, he cupped your face gently, inducing heat waves to lash your cheeks. He smiled again, coaxing.
“You good?”
“How dare you ask me that?”
Sunoo, bewildered, blinked fast. “Excuse me?”
You stepped back fast, cheeks burning and your palms slapped over them dramatically. The cold in your fingers brought you back down to earth. And you huffed, finally straightening before a bewildered boyfriend. He raised both eyebrows. “Did I do something wrong?”
“Oh don't do that—” you uttered, wildly gesticulating as you stepped back again. Being near him burned something dangerous within. And one more step, one more touch—the fuse would melt and whatever creature came out because of him would be let loose.
“Don't do what, lovey?” Sunoo asked again, daring to step closer, arms out like he was offering a hug if you wanted. You weren't falling for it at all and blenched away from the danger. Looking almost offended, Sunoo slumped. “What the heck, Y/n?”
At his obliviousness, you almost jumped him, but held yourself back because that would've defeated the whole purpose. So, you stepped back more and more and, in return, Sunoo walked towards you more and more. His hands hovered in a peace offering, eyes soft and yearning. You almost broke.
“You can't just… just…—”
“Just what?” Sunoo breathed, genuinely concerned.
“You can't look so fucking hot and expect me to breathe normally!” You snapped, and instantly covered your mouth in embarrassed realisation. Sunoo froze, suddenly iced with shock, but it melted into smug delight. Like velvet wrapped around his eyes and he was about to make you wear it too.
“I look fucking hot?” Sunoo mused, shoulders straighter and wider as he strolled over slowly, testing the fuse sparking in your skin. It tingled every goosebump in your body and your throat went dry. This wasn't good. Not pleased with your silence, he backed you up into the cold wall, making it all too aware of the fire licking up your spine, and tilted up your chin with a crooked finger.
Like this, your hitched breaths hit his chin, fanning his glossy lips that you wanted to eat. That embarrassed you even more. He grinned, wolfish.
“Babe, you didn't need to avoid me like that. Usually, me being hot does the opposite of… walking back into walls,” said Sunoo, flickering to the plain wall you were trying to morph back into. You gulped, throat dry with want and warmth.
“S-shut up.” You squeaked, and he gripped your chin more, fingers closing under your jaw with his long fingers. Another shattered breath. Another one of his devious smiles.
“Nah, I need to hear your perspective. Instead of, I don't know, appreciating your boyfriend like you want to, you're purposely moving away,” he said, stepping closer, leaning down until his glossy lips feathered over your nose. Naturally, you lifted your lips to connect them.
Sunoo halted you and dipped his nose to your cheek instead, earning a stupid whine from your throat. “Sunoo…”
“That's what I thought,” said Sunoo, his nose trailing a path up your temple and kissing you there. His hands snaked around your waist, taking you from the wall's hold and crushed your torso to his. In return, you dug your face into his neck.
He smelled like rich daisies dipped in pine or something. So heavy that it sat in your nose and trapped you there. Sunoo hugged you tighter, hands resting on your lower back like home. “So, are you going to keep moving away?”
“Nope. I'm stuck to you for life now,” you whispered, nearly swaying with him. Sunoo giggled at that, eyes turning into crescent moons.
“Really? I won't complain then,” said Sunoo, tucking a strand behind your ear before taking your chin again. He stared down at your parted lips, the way your eyes shimmered and twinkled for him, and he hummed, smirking. Your cheeks lit aflame again, your mind totally gone from earth and orbiting him instead.
“So pretty.” He leaned down and softly pressed his lips to yours. To which, you obviously reciprocated. Greedily, your hands snaked and tugged his nape down until he devoured your lips, molding into the oxygen you breathed and exhaling the love budding in your body. Sunoo groaned softly, easily picking you up until your legs wrapped around his waist—which you were oh so jealous of—all while his lips threaded with yours.
Strawberry gloss. You whined softly and kissed him deeper, departing for a second only to rejoin because he rekindled your will to live and cherish him. Sunoo, equally as needy, pressed you up against the wall to free his hands. Immediately, they connected to your thighs, roaming them like he needed to uncover every spot that blossomed with warmth.
A quiet groan left you again and by the time you departed, head thrown back, Sunoo dragged his strawberry lips down your jaw, down the smooth curve of your neck until he discovered the spot making you gasp.
“Sunoo… you look so amazing,” you admitted again, as if he didn't know it. Chuckling against your neck, he nipped your skin, bruising it and pulling another surprised squeak from you.
“So do you.”
“Oh please,” you said with a scoff, meeting the amber eyes that glowed in the dim light. “I'm dressed like I'm ready to send an eviction notice to someone.” In fact, wearing office pants and a white shirt wasn't the most appealing in your eyes. Not to mention how the wind messed your hair.
He gripped your thighs tighter and your breath shattered on his chin when your hips kissed his.
“I don't care if you're in your pyjamas, or work clothes,” he said, hands bordering dangerously to your underthighs. “You look fucking hot too.”
A silence fell over the both of you, barbed with something electric and it was about to set you off. You simply kissed him again and he obliged.
But this time, he managed to carry you into the bedroom and firmly shut the door behind him.
All you could remember was his strawberry lips.

۶ৎ───[NOTES]: I can't add more than 30, which sucks. But, you know, I found a way! So, yeah, pls enjoy this filler. I was struggling with the comedy LMFAO. But, I had to adjust and merge a lot of chapters bc I realised I was too ambitious with dragging the story. omg. Anyway, enjoy!
