“Well we couldn’t have any of the annoying staff discovering us, could I?” Not till the party was over and done with anyhow. He then quickly ducked behind a box to pull out to beers - one for each of them. “It’s uh… Angus, right?” He spoke over the music.
“I suppose not. But I guess I could bribe a few of them to shut up but then they’ll tell me mom and it would just be messy and all.” He shook his head and gladly accepted one of the drinks. “Yeah it’s Angus. And Aaron right? Aaron is your name?”
“I know, believe me. I’ve tried to talk to Fury about it, but he’s been busy.” Elijah only hoped that after his latest project he’d be able to talk to Fury again. “I think they want me to be a hero because I’ve got powers.” He mumbled, eyes cast downward to hide his lack of confidence when it came to that matter. The mention of Europe had him looking up again, a tilt of the head accompanying his response. “Yeah, I was told that you were in Europe, but no one told me why or what you were up to.”
“When isn’t Fury busy? But have you tried talking to Meg? Maybe she could as Fury since she’s his daughter and all.” He suggested. Angus didn’t know how much he was helping but he wanted to be of some use. “So? Just because you have powers, doesn’t mean you have to be a hero. Be whoever you wanna be gamma bro!” Angus smiled. Europe and everything was still a sensitive topic. He needed to deal with it, he knew but for now, no one had to know. “Um yeah I was in Europe. I was... I had things to do there...”
“Well there goes one example.” Mateo pouted. He raised his eyebrow. “Stark? I’m a Ramon, so who said it was just going to be with the internet? Boring. It’s the reason why I’m not allowed near CCPD since I was ten whenever I visit to see my adopted grandfather.” He smiled. “Please do, I’ll shout you some food.”
“Told ya!” He smirked. “I really don’t care if you put it on the internet or in space or project it on the moon. Like I’ve said, everything that’s embarrassing of me has already been seen on the internet and there is no point in me hiding it now, is there?” He smirked before walking over to cables. “Alright, here I’ve untied you now so you can thank me now.”
