What is this?

We’re a group of varied creators interested in creating a fan-made non-profit musical episode of The Owl House. We’re currently looking for Artists/Animators, Writers, Voice actors, Musicians/Composers, as well as Editors to help use work on this!

Meet The Mods

Our team of mods is currently working very hard to make sure we’re ready to start this project.

Em (Head Admin): Hi! I'm Em, any pronouns. I love animals, cartoons, and music. Thank you all so much for your help with this!

Koi: Heyo, I’m Koi (formerly Roman), Wy/Wyrm, and very excited to be working on this! Self-taught artist/storyboarder and musician! (I’m giving the gays everything they want)

Violet: Howdy! I'm Violet, she/him. I draw a lot, and I loooove musicals and GIRLS! I'm excited for this project to take off!!

Cobra: Whats up, I'm Riley, she/her. I love dnd, cats, girls and video games. Im super excited to be here and super stoked to see all the creativity brought to us.

Kat:  Hello! My name is Kat and my pronouns are she/her. I am overly organized, obsessed with cats, and can’t wait to see how everyone’s unique ideas and creativity help in the creation of this amazing project!

Jo: Hey! My name is Jo and my pronouns are She/They. I like to write, act, and play DnD. I am so hyped for this project and I can’t wait to see it come together!

Felicia: Hey there! my name is Felicia and my pronouns are she/her. I like listening to music, goofing off with friends, and I’m so pumped for this project. We’ve got some great people on board!

Follow up question, for the singing audition, does it have to be in the characters voice or can it just be whatever?

it can be whatever! for line auditions yes, we’re looking for character impersonations. but for song auditions, we’re mostly looking for singing ability for now! we’ll figure out who might might be best fit to sing for certain characters during callbacks

I want to audition, but I’m really nervous. What should I do?

there’s no pressure, but you should absolutely audition if you’re interested! if it makes you feel better, we’re all very friendly and excited to work on the project together i promise ahaha

maybe you can try joining the discord server and get a feel for what it’s like? if you have any question or concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out to us through here or the server. hope to see you audition!!

do you still have a spot open for a story boarder , and if so until when are the auditions? because around the end of July I have these very important exams (CIEs) and depending on the dates , I may or may not be able to apply

Sorry for the wait, we had to wait for feedback from the current board artists before we could answer.

Yes, we will be opening a few more slots for board artists soon! Applications will be open after we sort out our casting, so keep an eye out!

Just wanted to ask if you already know when people will hear back about the VA auditions? (It’s fine if not, there’s no rush, I’m just curious ^^)

we’ve just sent out callback results for the first round of submissions! (congrats to everyone for auditioning, we’ve got a lot of talented folks!!)

just an additional note, callback results for round two will come out sometime after the submission period ends

Deadline Extension Announcement

If you missed the previous deadline and would still like to audition for a speaking or singing role in The Owl House Musical Project, you’re in luck! We’re extending deadlines for the characters listed below:

Principal Bump

We’re placing a special emphasis on Luz (especially Luz), Eda, King, Willow, Principal Bump, and Skara. Anyone is welcome to audition for any of the roles; if you or anyone you know would be interested, please don’t hesitate to send in a submission or send them our way!

All submissions are due by 11:59 PM EST on August 31st.

Thinking about applying but I want to only apply as a voice actor (I can’t sing 😂)

I have the lines recorded, but can’t send the document in because both the voice acting and the singing thing are set as required fields. I’m assuming someone who would only apply for singing would run into the same issue. How are we supposed to do it if we only want to apply for one of the two?
