With this change to her physiology, Casper just found herself wanting to hole herself in more than she usually did. She did feel a little better though, getting used to it a little so much so that she wasn’t punching herself in the face every time she reached up to push away floppy brown hair from her face. Which in turn meant she ended up sleeping. Freaking out tended to take up a lot of energy, so she was knocked out on her couch by the time the afternoon rolled around.
She was shocked awake by the familiar voice and the pounding on her door. Bleary eyed as she stumbled (and almost tripped on her own feet) to the door, opening her door. Oh, it was Theo. “The-” pause for a long yawn, “-o.” Casper rubbed her eyes (not before poking her eyebrow instead before), “Hey, sorry. I was napping. Sorry about that - what’s going on?”
“Whoa.” At first, there was a rush of annoyance? Anger? Jealousy? Pumping through him as an attractive young man answered the door. Was Casper seeing someone? Was she sleeping with someone? It appeared as though he was just waking up... So had he spent the night? If so, why hadn’t she mentioned it? Did she not what him to know? Were they not close like that? His mind was going wild with frazzled thoughts until they began talking. “C-Cas?” Brows slowly pulled together, his head cocking slightly to the side. “I-Is that you?” Shit, had the curse gotten to her as well? Deep down, he hoped so. It wouldn’t certainly be an easier pill to swallow than to realize she was seeing someone. “Uh... Sorry. I was just checking in. I mean, I was worried. You know... Because of all of the shit happening around town.” Blinking a few times, he still couldn’t seem to shake the strange feeling that had randomly consumed him. “Y-You are Casper... Right?” Better to be safe than sorry.
