Here’s the speedpaint for this picture :D
Look out, it’s a couple of spiderpals swinging by your dash!
So this is something I’ve been working on for the past two weeks. @trulymightypotato just watched Into the Spider Verse earlier this month, and we decided to each draw the both of us as spiderpeople (or, y’know, our spidersonas). The catch: we were only allowed to tell the other our colours of choice. So here’s what came out on my side! Potato’s in purple and black; I’m in black/white/grey with a bit of yellow.
Here is Potato’s version!
A speedpaint for this drawing will be coming out tomorrow :D
Sirius Kardyv, the Diamond Prince of the Empire that rules all of Tetyon.
This is Siri’s main character ref sheet from a project @trulymightypotato and I are working on!
The three finished pieces for the commission! I’m very pleased with how they turned out.
Image one, complete in all its lined glory! On to number two...
A work in progress for a commission! This is image 1 of 3. Can't wait to share the finished results with everyone :D
Here’s a sneak peek of… something c:
@trulymightypotato did the concept sketch, passed it over to me to do the messy sketch then the lines, and I fired it back over for her to really bring it to life with those stunning colouring skills :D
Masks can reveal just as much as they hide.
I’ve found another style haha
I really like this one though, I think I’ll keep it around for a bit :D
I know it’s a bit late (and I’m not just talking about today) but here it is, as I promised. I know I have a lot to learn, but I’m really proud of what I’ve made here, especially since it is the first time I’ve used photoshop, and a tablet, and painted digitally.
Also please ignore the weird perspective just shhhhhh
(So I know at least one of my followers knows what this is. They were able to guess off the sneak peek I posted a few weeks ago.) I’ve absolutely loved all the art and the fics that @caustic-synishade has done for their circus au, and what better way to show this love than through fanart :D
Anyway. Here it is, finally, I hope everyone likes it c: I also hope you all have an amazing day/night, and thank you for any likes or reblogs or comments (seriously they make my day). Remember to smile today, love you all!
You walk down the street in the early morning, each breath carrying just enough of a bite to remind you that autumn is approaching. There’s the scent of freshly baked bread and the distant rumble of an automobile a block over—then one of the newsies steps out, waving his cap in your direction. You stop, and return his smile.
“Did you hear?” the young man exclaimed, “There’s a new alternate reality fic coming out this weekend! It’s set in this very city, Boston, of all places! And, of course, in 1923. Guess they couldn’t think of a better year.” He replaced his cap and struggled, for a moment, with his armful of papers before passing one to you.
Thanking him, you glance down at the headline, and skimmed the first sentence. Then, with a cheery grin, you flip the young man a coin and continue on your way.
That’s right, you heard it here first, folks. There’s a 1920′s fic coming out soon with your favourite youtubers as the main cast! If you want the scoop before everyone else make sure to drop by the authours’ blogs: @trulymightypotato, @randomringwrites, @lowat-golden-tower, @thatoneperson98122, @angstphilosophy, and @theparadoxicalfox. And of course, this wouldn’t have come about if it wasn’t for the wonderful @neko-puff, whose stream was where it all began!
No story, just a bit of art! JSE Positivity time :D
I wish everyone a glorious day!
i did these before the little cards, so they’re about a year old c: each one is just a piece of plain white paper that I coloured in with a few pen(s). ordered by date finished, each took a few months. honestly, it was worth the time and the hand cramps :D
see if you can find all the animals! the foxes are easy enough (there’s 5 of them) and there’s 16 owls (do you have a favourite? i’d love to know!) but the 14 cats can be tricky, and even i have some trouble keeping track of all 19 mice and their 3 pet beetles C:
i wish you all a good day/night!
At this point they’re about three years old now, but I still love them so much.
Step-by-step process of how I make these little animal cards!
Here’s the other cards I’ve done :D
Quick run-down of what the pictures above are showing: I first draw what animal I will do in pencil, then outline it all in pen (the animal, the border, and the name). I then colour that in. Next I trace the image onto the other side using a high-tech method called window tracing, write the animal’s name in the other language I chose (in this case it’s Russian), then fill it in. Then I scan the final product, and that’s it!
One card usually takes me a few hours, and I love doing them C: Now that there are, for some reason, more than 30 people out there following this blog, I’d like to find ways for us to all interact a bit. So if anyone has animals they’d like to see, or languages (or both), please shoot me an ask or comment on this post!
some sketches, just working myself up to actually drawing a wolf demon @trulymightypotato might know something about :D
and here’s the second batch! with a sloth, of course, for the wonderful @marielgum
the languages on the other side are Portuguese for the sloth, Hindi for the cow, and Irish Gaelic for the squirrel c;
i would love to get more ideas! throw ‘em at me :D
So I started these little paper cards over a year ago. They’re pretty small (about 4.5 by 5.5 cm) but each one takes about four days to make both sides and are a little time consuming. (They also consume a lot of my pen ink.) But I wanted to put them up here because I need ideas for what animals and what languages to do next.
So far I’ve got a Basque sheep, a Dutch mouse, a Chinese dog, a Polish cat, a Hebrew fox, an Hawaiian sea turtle, a French raccoon, and a German owl. I’m working on a little card of a cow with the name in Hindi, and I want to do a Russian wolf next… but please, any ideas would be amazing :D
