"Not done, work. Long time. Need to, make up. Time, work." Pauses, then more pats. "Like mainframe, as, doge. Is good. Change. Very..." What's the word... "Is very, waggy. Good thing, is." One last pat for the road!
Mainframe: *tilts it's head to the side at the noise* Oooh?! What IS?!? Is happy noise?! Is GOOD! Havein' FUN!
"Much fun. Many, fun." P.E.B. didn't really seem to realize anything off about the sound, and thus kept it up with happily glowing optics.And, as always, all the pats were given. Or, at least, a great number of pats before it decided to stand back up. Nobody else as qualified as it was going to patrol the halls, after all.
Mainframe: *Bounces about in a circle wagging it's tail and barking happily then pauses in front of PEB for some pats, then continues it's bouncy circles*
At some point it started making a noise that could be called laughter, assuming the person listening had never heard laughter before and was raised next to a trash compactor.A trash compactor full of trucks.... at least the noise wasn't very loud. More bass than anything else.
Mainframe: Yes! FRIENDS! /We/ LIKE! *happy barks and tail wags!*

Neuro might have competition on what may be the most adorable thing in the facility soon, "You learn well. /Good job/." another pat, on his chest as shes not up for reaching and starts off.
Such a happy P.E.B., she even gets a giddy little wave goodbye and more of those weird metal-whale rumbly noises.... maybe it should take lessons from Neuro at some point, those sounds probably detract adorable points.

Takes a moment to process that!"Face thing, affection. Is good." Nodding, totally has it down now. Somehow it even sounds a little happy. It's even quietly clapping its little pair of hands, best it can do without smiling. "Affection, from Central. Thank? Thank."

Mainframe: *Mainframe doge trots down a hallway on it's way to who knows where when it spots The PEB. The Mainframe has seen The PEB before on cameras but has never had a reason to interact with the large robot; but now that The Mainframe had a mobile form THAT WAS GOING TO CHANGE RIGHT NOW! Mainframe doge ran up and sat in front of PEB* HELLO! /We/ are /The Mainframe/! You are /Party Bot Friend/! Yes?!
Lots and lots of staring.
So. Much. Staring.
And then leaning, and careful petting. One does not confront the P.E.B. with animals and expect it not to pet them.
"Mainframe? Is, dog. How is? Mainframe is, facility, not dog." At least it's good at logic. Kind of. "Is Escort. Party Bot, Friend? Not, know? Is Party Escort."
"It was a form of, hm." tries to find an easy word to use for better understanding, "Reward. Affection." uses two! Works at her hair again, can't leave it be.
Brightens up at the word 'reward,' literally. Such happy pink optics!
"Is good?" And then the head tilting starts up again. Still confused, but learning! "Affection? For, Escort?"
Allows the patting for now, "The other thing, is what I meant. But it carries more weight than this does." flinching at each pat.
"Other, thing? Thing?"
Stops patting after it's satisfied that isn't what she's still talking about.

Now she's just wondering if he understood anything at all. "Do you know what that was?" Curiousness, nothing but now.
"Pats?"
Demonstrates, more carefully this time. See? Not a hair out of place.
That got a quiet laugh out of her, and then instantly trying to fix any hairs that got out of place. "Do you not understand the concept?"
"Which, concept? What?"
Almost considers helping, but somehow thinks better of it. Clearly no expert on hair.
She smiles pleasantly, his confusion is far too entertaining.

Some confused and timid head pats for her from one of his small hands, he's resorting to mimicry.
Still had to try to stand a little taller but, there it is, a little kiss on whatever may be considered lips. Then a pat-pat on the top of his head.
