So. I may have just done a hugeeeeee change.
Tom Hiddleston's face for Will is no more. It served me well, but I think it's time to move on (other than with Darling's verse). Yes, we are now Multi-verse!Â
Tell me what you think!
Some formulas are plainly beautiful, arenât they?
//okay I'm going to do some serious re-making â get keen
{saunters into the room} âWhat?â
{ points behind him towards the hall bathroom, glaring at Will accusingly }
âWhat on this Earth did you eat, dear husband?â
"..."
"..."
"..."
"Milly's baby food."
âĂað var alls ekki mĂ©r.â
{ yells } ââWilliam, darling?â
{saunters into the room} "What?"
Hogwarts will always be there to be completely done with your shit.

"...Hello."
He stared into Darlingâs eyes in silence, his heart pounding by his mere presence. Keeping Darling in place with an arm wrapped around his torso, he took in every tiny feature of Lokiâs face â just like heâs done a thousand times before. Though Willâs favourite was his eyes â he loved looking at the pattern of his iris. Every time he looked close enough, he noticed something new. Like the tiny specs of another colour, or how the tiny fibres formed their own landscape. But of Darlingâs eyes, his favourite were his pupils. It was exactly like a black hole â it sucked him in with no hope of ever escaping. Â
"âŠI love you. So much. More than you can ever know⊠More than you can see in my mind. Youâre about three inches away from me, and I still miss you⊠I love you for everything you were, are and will be â Donât ever forget or doubt it and there is nothing you could do to change that⊠You could try take over the world again and Iâd still stand by your side â Iâd even help you rule â as long as youâre safe and with me. That is how much I love you. Iâve never believed in Gods, but I worship you⊠I still think youâve enchanted me with a spell that has made me so irreversibly bewitched by you â but I donât care, because Iâve never been this happy, and I never, ever, want it to end.â
Darling listened as his husband poured his heart out, wearing a quiet smile, clearly touched. More than touched. He was overwhelmed with the love and care he could feel radiating out from William, love and care he would never believe he deserved from this man. Nonetheless, he wouldnât turn it down.
"WilliamâŠ" He didnât even know where to begin, or what had prompted this random profession of love. He searched Willâs face as his own cheeks began to hurt from the way his mouth was stretched out into a smile. He hardly knew how to respond at all. "âŠIt will never end, so long as you allow me to remain fortunate enough to have you in my life."
"Then it will never end. Because I will never allow you to leave." Will's hand found Darling's. His thumb tenderly rubbed circles into his palm whilst his fingers tightly latched onto his. "I know we argue over who is the luckiest but, the biggest dream I've had since I was a teenager was to be a husband in a loving marriage. You've given me everything I've ever wanted â and if that doesn't make me the luckiest man in the world, I don't know what does."Â
He hummed as Loki played with his hair â relaxing his entire body. He was content to lay there for years. Watching Amelia was never boring, especially when she was playing with her toys. She simply shook them about with a large smile on her face.
âMilly is perfect. And we are lucky to have her.â
Loki sighed. At some point in their lives, he would have his husband understand how loved and important he was. If such a thing were possible. âOf course she is, my dear. Sheâs ours. Would you expect anything less?â
His gaze traveled back to their daughter, just in time to watch her finally flop over to one side. A soft cushion of air only an inch or so thick stopped her from thudding against the carpet at the last moment, then slowly dissipated and let her sink down into it gently. Loki was a bit of a protective father.
Will snorted as she flopped over â more at the multiple pillows that surrounded her. "No. I expected everything from her, but she somehow gave us more."
Gently, Will reached out and softly stroked the top of her head. "You're okay, sweetie."
As soon as she heard him start to make the sheep talk, Asha knew that Will was going down the path in to sadness again, and she couldnât stand to see it. âRight.â She said loudly after five minutes and a plan as she pushed away from her desk. âIn cupcake sheep land itâs now summer, soâŠâ Walking in to his office, she pulled one of the mini marshmallows off the sheep and cheekily popped it in to Willâs mouth.
In any other job, she would not have dared such a thing with her boss, but she knew Will, and understood him more then they both liked to admit. They were both alone, sad but trying to hide it under mountains of work and alcohol. In this office, with sheep cupcakes and teasing about home countries, they could pretend that their worlds were happy once more. âThe sheep need to be sheared. Now, am I going to sit here and feed you mini marshmallows to stop you from baby talking with the sheep, or will you do work?â She asked in a mock bossy voice, which was ruined by her trying not to smile. âCause I swear to you I will sit on your desk and feed you marshmallows to avoid you making the sheep talk to each other. This is not Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs, and if it was that would suck because chocolate man, it would have feelings I canât eat things with feelings, itâs why I spit.â
Gasping she covered her mouth with her hands as she looked at him with wide eyes, horrified that she had just done such an openly sexual joke around her boss. âSorry!â
Will was one to go with the flow â and he didnât really care about professionalism â at least from people he liked. He hummed as he started chewing the marshmallow.Â
"You will never stop me from baby talking with the sheep," he answered as he plucked off a marshmallow and threw it at her. But her comment made him reel with laughter â laughing so hard that so sound came from him. After he turned bright red, he managed to calm himself.Â
"So unprofessional⊠but I wouldnât say they have feelings, more of an objective. The troopers donât really have a consciousness.â
Trying to catch the marshmallow in her mouth, Asha ended up falling on the floor with a laugh, watching as the marshmallow rolled next to her after landing on the floor. âSo close.â She mumbled, grabbing the marshmallow and throwing it back at him. âStop laughing at me!â She playfully whined, standing up from the floor.
As soon as he said troopers Asha was leaning over his desk in hysterical laughter, tears falling down her cheeks as she tried to regain some resemblance of professionalism. âOh god⊠Do they come out in rigid army formation?!â She asked between her laughter, pulling another marshmallow from the cupcake and throwing it at him once she could stand up straight. âThis is the reason people think we are dating or something, now tell me to go back to work and be all boss like!â
William watched her, snickering as his poor intern seemed to loose the plot on the floor. His cheeks turned red from smiling so wide for so long. "Well, I don't know about anyone else, but mine certainly do."Â
Catching the marshmallow against his shirt, he ate it. "Do you want me to shout at you a bit? Prove everyone wrong?"

Sound and vision: visual cortex processes auditory information too
âSeeing is believingâ, so the idiom goes, but new research suggests vision also involves a bit of hearing.
Scientists studying brain process involved in sight have found the visual cortex also uses information gleaned from the ears as well as the eyes when viewing the world.
They suggest this auditory input enables the visual system to predict incoming information and could confer a survival advantage.
Professor Lars Muckli, of the Institute of Neuroscience and Psychology at the University of Glasgow, who led the research, said: âSounds create visual imagery, mental images, and automatic projections.
âSo, for example, if you are in a street and you hear the sound of an approaching motorbike, you expect to see a motorbike coming around the corner. If it turned out to be a horse, youâd be very surprised.â
The study, published in the journal Current Biology, involved conducting five different experiments using functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI) to examine the activity in the early visual cortex in 10 volunteer subjects.
In one experiment they asked the blindfolded volunteers to listen to three different sounds â birdsong, traffic noise and a talking crowd.
Using a special algorithm that can identify unique patterns in brain activity, the researchers were able to discriminate between the different sounds being processed in early visual cortex activity.
A second experiment revealed even imagined images, in the absence of both sight and sound, evoked activity in the early visual cortex.
Lars Muckli said: âThis research enhances our basic understanding of how interconnected different regions of the brain are. The early visual cortex hasnât previously been known to process auditory information, and while there is some anatomical evidence of interconnectedness in monkeys, our study is the first to clearly show a relationship in humans.
âIn future we will test how this auditory information supports visual processing, but the assumption is it provides predictions to help the visual system to focus on surprising events which would confer a survival advantage.
âThis might provide insights into mental health conditions such as schizophrenia or autism and help us understand how sensory perceptions differ in these individuals.â
