“Tonna…Tonna…relax…it’s okay, he’ll be okay.” [Jean wasn’t entirely sure that was true, but she knew she had to keep Tonna calm. She didn’t want there to be another accident.]           “We have what he’ll need. We’ll           make sure he’s just fine. I’ll keep           you updated, okay?”

Tonna nodded, looking back at the boy, before quickly and quietly exiting the  clinic. 

She paced back and forth in the hallway, hating herself for letting this happen. As she paced, some of the lights on the wall began to flicker, a common occurrence when  she was stressed or upset. She quickly made her way back to her room, closing  and locking the door.

[Once Tonna left, Jean let out a soft, tired sigh. Unfortunately, it was not uncommon for her to deal with a hurt student as well as the guilty student who had one the hurting. Accidents were common, here.           A moment passed before she           turned her attention back to the           unconscious boy, making sure           he was okay and had what he           needed.]

"I… I had just tripped over a cord. He offered to help me up. When I went to reach for his hand, I grabbed the cord at the same time. H-he started convulsing, and my hand went numb.
