Yesterday me and a friend had to explain the concept of sinterklaas to an italian girl and i couldnt stop giggling at the bewildered expression she had on her face while we were talking about how pete was based on racist stereotypes but theyre reworking him to not be a racist stereotype anymore - she lost the plot completely when we started talking about an old man with a horse on a roof shoving presents down a chimney.
