MISSING PERSON: Arlene Gozo

December 26th

Have you seen Arlene Gozo? 

Local resident Arlene Gozo has not been seen since the night of December 23rd, 2015. She was spotted at the Reef Cove Holiday Party along side other party guests. Some say they overheard Arlene whispering and talking about Reef Cove’s previous owners, The Miller’s, all evening long. The more she drank, the louder she became. 

“I heard Arlene yelling about Mr. Rudolph and how he was ruining the island’s atmosphere by reinventing Reef Cove as a whore house." A party goer was quoted saying, "She just kept going on about how this used to be a family place and how things changed all because of Mr. Rudolph. She seemed really upset by all of it.” Another party guest had this to say, “Arlene was plastered by the end of the night. She probably wandered off and passed out somewhere. She gets like this. She’ll show up.” 

It seems this kind of behavior is the norm for Ms. Gozo, but her family is up in arms with worry. With the holiday taking place and there being no sign of Ms. Gozo, her family is positive that something is wrong.

Whether this is a case of drunk girl gone missing or a case of foul play is yet to be seen. But we’ll keep you posted here at the Pirate Gazette!

                                    HOLIDAY PARTY @ REEF COVE

Reef Cove invites all guests and residents of Pirates Well to come join the holiday fun this Wednesday. We encourage all to come in their fanciest attire, and get ready to party the night away in style. 

The party will start at 7:00 PM and continue until the morning of December 24th at 4:00 AM. 

Price of admission:

Free for all Reef Cove and Palm Verde guests

$75.00 for all others

                                      Must be 18+ to attend and drink

REEF COVE SET TO OPEN RIGHT BEFORE THE HOLIDAY

December 16 

We’ve all been wondering when Reef Cove was going to announce their grand opening, and it seems that time has come. Yesterday, an official spokesperson for the resort announced the ship will arrive with the resort’s first official guests on December 23rd, 2015. Now, this will be the first time since the tragic event that took place three years ago, that Reef Cove will be open for business. The new owner, Peter Rudolph, has gone ahead and renovated the entire two mile long resort in hopes to create a fresh, new destination for what he calls, “people who are looking to escape life and have a little fun”. 

Unlike Rudolph’s other resort, that sits on the opposite side of Pirates Well, Reef Cove will be the spot for the people without children. It’s meant to be the perfect getaway for bachelors and bachelorettes. With a club that’s open until 6:00 am every night, we can see why this wouldn’t be the ideal vacation spot for families. 

On the evening of the 23rd, Reef Cove will be holding an event for all guests and even locals (at a price). The attire is formal wear and anyone not in black tie will be instantly turned away. They sure aren’t kidding about this place being upscale.
