And then there's this. According to this entry from this shadow library entry, The Empire used its influence to establish a new calendar and retroactively proclaim its founding year as Year 1.

The Adrestian Empire literally reset Fodlan's year numbering, from some unknown time system during the era of the gods (which is something we should start talking about actually), back to Imperial Year 1.

Unless we'd like to assume that Dagda also reset back to Year 1 at that time too, based on the founding of the Adrestian Empire, which is not only like 2 countries away, they are also occasionally waging war against them. There's no chance that they'd be both be using the same year numbering.

Initially, I thought this line by Dietrich (3H Counter: 3) disproves the "FW is a prequel" by saying the blade has been passed down, but actually, this just strengthens my theory.

Been playing Fire Emblem: 3 Houses for a while now (so funnnn I've found my niche) and rahhh I need more lore on the Insurrection of the Seven and Adrestian Politics in general. have some thoughts.

-Why did Marquis Vestra betray Ionius? Did Ionius fuck up so badly that it caused a Vestra to betray a Hresvleg for the first time?

-Wht exactly was the event that caused Patricia Von Arundel to be exiled? Because TIL it's not The Insurrection and it happened way long before it.

-I want to know more about Ionius centralizing power to try and remove the privileges of his 'consort kin'. Is it related to why Anselma was exiled? Is she one of the reasons Volkhard was the main instigator of the Insurrection of the Seven? Tried a power grab, failed and got exiled? Did Ionius and Anselma really loved each other?(I'm leaning on that they did once, but fell out of love)

-Actually wait really, wtf is up with Anselma/Patricia. Correct me if I'm wrong anywhere here but she:

Rizzes up the Emperor of Adrestia and becomes a consort, gets exiled to Faerghus due to reasons unclear(bc of aforementioned attempted removal of consort privileges?), rizzes up the King of Faerghus and secretly married him, becomes a stepmother to Dimitri, somehow didn't find out that her daughter and her brother is in Faerghus after the Insurrection happened (because Lambert, but surely you would have heard your stepson Dimitri talking about some girl named El he gave a dagger to at some point), only finds out about them after they leave and become sad, because of this you go help instigate the Tragedy of Duscur, to meet your daughter again.

And now you disappeared from the narrative after that, having doomed: one, maybe two of your husbands, at LEAST one of your children, and an entire ethnic group and culture.
