  she’s six years old and staring at him from behind the glass. they took her from him, for research purposes– her lasts tests came back different, with some findings on her blood work that didn’t make sense to her, but he gave her an order to follow the men in white and listen to what they said. she’s tired, with little bruises under her eyes and she misses her bed and the blankets and the smell of those stupid sticks with the oils on them. she misses making her bowl of cereal and eating it on the kitchen table, but here none of that happens. she gets stuck repeatedly with needles and gets her blood drawn three times a day about fifteen minutes after she eats. she can’t watch tv here and the bed smells like chemicals.

  she hopes it doesn’t sound like she’s whining, but the constant training they’re making her go through has her a little on edge. her eyes aren’t as bright as they usually are, and her face doesn’t hold the normal pale glow. a part of her wants to demand that he take her home, that he makes them all stop poking and prodding at her– she doesn’t like it when they make her fight the other kids.

Now this was a curious looking…human? Was this person even human? This definitely perplexed the blade quite a bit as he tilted his head. “You..don’t seem like you’re from around here….”

Definitely nothing like the mortals he’s experienced so far, as the silver tilted his head a bit. “Do you…..have no one who has silver hair back where your from?” He really was perplexed as he really could sense nothing from the other.

“I only know a few people wit’ silver hair….” Logan replied simply, before backing himself away to give himself distance. The other man stunk of something, but he couldn’t make out of what, or rather, where from.

A few folks with silver and he was backing away from him, so that meant those people were bad news as well. Huh, small world. Did he offend the other in some way as he took a few steps towards him, doing the best he could to not be threatening. “So…..what is your world like? Does it have magic like here or strange monsters that roam the wild? Or do you have giant birds you can ride?”

“Yer’ serious?” Logan questioned at the curious look on the other’s face. Flying birds? Magic...Well, in the mutant world, there were possibilities, but the feral man wouldn’t tell him that. “Yer’ fuckin’ strange.”

Logan couldn’t help but to smirk at the younger man standing before him, but it did little to nothing to surprise him for what  Daken had heard about his supposed death. “I ain’t dead, bub.”
