I can't say it doesn't look great. Can't say I don't want this or the ones from Drake's. I do because I happen to identify. But I'm having a harder time ignoring all the 'mughal' colonialist prints that appropriate from a less respected tailoring and textile industry and mark it up for some twisted homage to the good times.
Put it this way, when was the last time you bragged about something made in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, etc.? And how much of the hundreds of pounds or euros that it costs goes back to the hands that made it?

You know this, we all know this. Fast fashion is cheap but comes at a price. Clearly we need to be reminded, however. John Oliver is nice light way to get that reminder.Ā
But whatās going to happen when we forget the next time? As an often-strapped consumer and self-professed clotheshorse I will say that I struggle to find a way to strike a balance between the exorbitant prices of luxury (much of which is made in the same sweatshops and dubious labour conditions) and the overtly cheap-at-the-cost-of-human-life fast fashion. As a generation weāve gotten almost too good at ensuring the food we eat is brought to us in the most ethical way, what about the clothes on our back? Buy less, buy better, sure. Or perhaps just buy less, period.Ā
For those who want to know, the hat is Pathani, my grandfather wore one from time to time, looking brave and handsome even though he didn't hail from the region. This image struck me immediately, love it.
When someone sent me this link it sounded like a Tinder alternative. But in case your post-420 buzz is still going, here's a way to find a place in Colorado that'll embrace it (as if airbnb didnāt sound stoner-friendly enough). Something tells me this was one of those fleeting brilliant ideas people have when theyāre high. Dope.
