Vinh's Mission

The prince of a small, isolated tribe. Recent meetings among the tribe have made the decision that they need to start branching out more. Of course, testing the water is a job for the chief's family - unfortunately, the chief has been long dead and his wife, who has taken charge of the tribe, has become ill over the years and can not travel. So, the oldest son was sent out to mingle with people that the tribe has not interacted with since the glory days.

||For the kids! Any funny stories about your parents?||

"She squashed me and landed face first in dad's lap; the whole pitcher or water spilled over him and the desserts got him in the face. The whole room was silent and unmoving for several minutes because nobody knew what to do or how to respond! The look on dad's face was priceless!

"Papa chased us throughout the whole palace, butt-naked! He horrified the servants, and probably dad, too. It was scary at the time but dear Ancestors was it funny!"

Fedel and Trai: do you either of you have an outfit with some sort of symbolic or special significance? Something ceremonial maybe?

Yes, of course! All the clothing, besides nightwear, of course, that the royal family wears is significant. That is why you rarely see me out of these robes. Ah, though I don't wear my crown as often as I should.. it's so heavy, haha. Fedel doesn't wear the clothes of the royal family because, well... the council still doesn't approve of him and has yet to let me marry him, and they won't let me dress him as I wish, either. (also, do not mind him; Fedel is still grumpy over the last question he received.)

However, for certain festivals, the entire town dresses up to celebrate! Sometimes it is just a certain flower that symbolizes something, and we wear it in our hair or on our cloaks. Sometimes it is a special sash we all tie around our waists. And sometimes, we just get to dress fancy! That is when I bend the rules and make Fedel wear some of the royal's clothing, made particularly for those festivals. He looks so lovely in them! See~?
