i hope everyone is ready for the most insane and horrific vape injuries from illegal vapes you can possibly imagine. youve heard of going blind from drinking wood alcohol, now get ready for, i dont know, just blue skying it here, total organ failure from vaping pesticides mixed into fog machine juice by the new bootleggers

vapes are actually still legal and a safe(r) option for nicotine consumption than smoking. people who already legally smoke cigarettes will continue to do so. if someone born after develops a nicotine addiction then they can vape or use nicotine pouches or patches or gum. it's just cigarettes, notably a massive public health problem which unlike alcohol or other drugs, affect people around the smoker as well. i really don't understand the opposition to this?

The issue is that they used to think cigarettes were healthy before they started performing autopsies on people who smoked their entire life. There's just not enough research on the effects of vaping, and there's not enough regulation on vapes. Kids are buying them illegally, and yes I do mean kids. My niece talked about her classmate vaping when she was 10! I am absolutely for a ban on smoking, but it's just not enough. There needs to be more research on vaping. Even more since too many people think it's acceptable to vape in public spaces or on public transportation, not even thinking it's rude. I don't need to breathe in your watermelon air, it's gross.

I have seen a few videos from snl pass by on various social media accounts and I really want to love it but... Do people outside of the USA think these are actually funny? I am genuinely curious if this is a cultural thing or just me??

Like. The ice skating skit was maybe a lil haha. But most of the skits are just. I don't know. A bit too drawn out to be funny? Or just. Not?

Anyone else who feels that way? Or who has a better way to explain why it just misses the mark?
