God Is Our Refuge in Every Storm
"The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him." — Nahum 1:7 (KJV)
In a world filled with uncertainty, one truth remains constant: God is good. Nahum 1:7 reminds us of this powerful reality and offers comfort to every believer facing difficult circumstances.
The prophet Nahum wrote during a time when nations were experiencing turmoil and judgment. Yet in the midst of these warnings, this beautiful verse shines like a beacon of hope. It reveals three important truths about God.
God's goodness is not based on how we feel or what we experience. Circumstances may change, but His character never does. Even when life is confusing or painful, God remains faithful, loving, and trustworthy.
