....the struggle is real....OUCH. Lanolin isnt enough and I'm about ready to cry. How did I just find out about lubing your nipples BEFORE pumping. DUH! I am never dry pumping ever again.
The beginning of something GREAT!
I need to talk about what i’m going through. I’m antsy, fidgety and constantly attached to this Medela breastpump! It controls my life more than my 3 month old child does. I ask myself everyday, “What for? Why do I do this to myself?” Is it because I want to nourish my son with the liquid gold we call breastmilk? Or is it simply because it’s cheaper than buying cases of formula? Or maybe it’s the fact that all of the women i’m close to in my life have breastfed their children and it seems like the right thing to do? Can I be honest with my audience? It’s a little of everything. I want to be real with all of you. I don’t want to sugar coat the entire experience for all of you, like it was sugar coated for me! I want to give you the good, the bad and the ugly. You might not like what you read, or even agree with me, but I don’t care. This is MY blog and I will tell it like I want to tell it. This blog is for me, and for those that want to laugh, cry and fall apart...with me. The main focus of the blog will be talking about my pumping experience, truthfully and honestly. This blog will talk about my birthing experience, my postpartum experience, my breastfeeding issues and mostly about exclusively pumping mom things! So please share with your friends, your loved ones and strangers and enjoy!
