I had so much fun making this look. I really think 70’s to the 90’s are some of the best eras to recreate with a modern spin! This look gives me washed up singer still trying to catch her light center stage at some big concert venue but refuses to accept that her music is that of an acquired taste and won’t ever do well beside reaching the ears of a niche audience. The woman that likes to dress in this outfit is a dreamer and not a small one, she travels a lot, she generally loves the outdoors, has a Vinyl collection filled to the brim with 90’s rock & roll classics, and her name is Evelyn and one of the many reasons why she refuses to give up on her big girl dreams is because her parents divorced back in the 80’s!

Since we’ve entered into a new season I decided to base this look on Aries season. I tend to use a lot of warm/orange tones so this looks focused on that 100%, and I think it turned out well. This isn’t much different than my other looks, which is okay because I wasn’t aiming to do something different but it’s still a very spunky and I had a lot of fun creating it despite it taking the longest to make lol!

Retro Modern Look

This is a very simple look I guess because it didn’t really need much, once I saw the picture of the lava lamp I instantly knew the vibe I wanted to go for with this look. If you know me and my style I do enjoy a retro look so of course this lava lamp needed that however I wanted to go for that mid century futuristic sleek look.

I really do enjoy reimagining past decades it’s fun to see just how similar but different life is now compared to then.
