I was planning to kick off this month’s experiments with some new brushes, but my vintage Intuos 3 has been acting weird. Maybe it’s finally time for an upgrade?

So for this month I’ll be using the pen tool and transparency in illustrator, focusing on shapes and layers. The design side of me has a hard time not lining everything up all perfect and symmetrical, so I will definitely be out of my comfort zone.
