first time drawing Thor and I'm so drawn to his 1966 #432 outfit cause it's so gaudy in all of the right ways

and Malekith getting tortured in the corner is FRYING me

Rewatched Thor: the Dark World (bc I hadn't seen it in several years and I wanted to check it out again), so here are some things I enjoyed about the movie!

Really like the design of the Dark Elves. Malekith is boring (Christopher Ecceleston, oh how they wasted you), but the rest of them have this cool creepy doll look to them. Wish it was utilized more often. Super creative!

The Dark Elves ship is also cool. It moves quickly, agility is off the charts, and it once again has an original design

(This is a bunch of Dark Elves stuff, sorry, bear with me) The black hole grenades they have, again, very creative, really bummed out no one reused them after this film

In general, the costume and props for this film POPPED OFF!! Everything is really unique-looking, there's always something to pay attention to and it's often to your benefit. Malekith and Thor lack a bit on the wardrobe, so they're kinda bland compared to everything else, but the rest is phenomenal

That's it, he's just so iconic in this film. Killer lines. Killer costumes. Incredible. No notes

Okay but actually, there's so many tiny things I love about Tom Hiddleston's performance. He's a master of the micro expressions, of the motions and the habits. Something people have pointed out before is that Loki often wrings his hands the same way Frigga does, and I'm pretty sure that's something Tom included in this film! What a great way to add character!

I also rewinded the scene where he shapeshifts into Captain America like three times at least. This scene is the BEST PART of the film by farrrr. I have no shame for how many times I watched it

THE CALLBACKS TO LOKI KILLING COULSON!! Kurse stabs Loki the same way Loki stabbed Coulson, and the framing of the scene is super similar as well. Coulson (Loki) sneaks up on Loki (Kurse). Loki (Kurse) turns the other way and stabs Coulson (Loki). Everyone thinks Coulson (Loki) is dead. Turns out he's not!! I love references

Also thank you Loki for bringing us Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. We love you

"Mew mew" Darcy, you underappreciated icon

This movie is really amusing when you're an AoS fan bc of the episode "The Well", where it starts off with the team cleaning up after Thor's mess in Greenwich. As Coulson says, "Really wish they'd send down the god of cleaning up after yourself"

Frigga's magic being the same color as Loki's

THE MICROEXPRESSIONS AGAIN OH MY GOD

Okay, to quickly explain that last point, y'all know when Loki survives, he turns into a guard and goes to tell Odin. He averts his gaze most of the time, except for that last moment, and y'all. If that isn't the most Loki face I have ever seen, THE SMIRK

This is a little random sidenote, but I just realized that the score that plays during Frigga's funeral is the same one Loki uses in the play about him in "Ragnarok"! Just wanted to point this out
