We closed the chains to our greed

i predicted the bombshell before We passed the stands

We assumed a fault in the team,

someone not working as We planned it

Me: the only thing I discovered until now is how judgmental women can be, how stubborn men will be, and how little stories from john Steinbeck will get me a job. give me one good reason why high school is important.

Teacher:You learn a few things about life.

Me: isn't that my parent's job? and even if you had that much insight into how much life will throw at me, why can't you teach me about things like mortgages?

Teacher:I'm an english teacher, not a math professor.

Me: who majored in philosphy? you should be a counselor, not a english teacher!

Teacher:We show you talents that you never thought you had.

Me: -That we will put down for incoming timefillers like homecoming dances. how contradicting of the school to press us to think for our own future while joining events that collide with exam deadlines.

Teacher: You think you're SSOOO SMART, don't you?!!?

Me:what do you mean? i thought the intelligence left with the relevance of this conversation.
