Tarrant head cannon

Tarrants favourite things to eat are pastries, cakes and cookies. After all, those things go so well together with tea. When Time left him stuck at one minute to tea time Tarrant didn’t even get a chance to have any tea or snacks because tea time had not started yet. He was stuck in a time loop until Alice returned. By the time young Alice arrived all the food had spoiled and the tea was full of twigs, dirt and cobwebs. This is one of the reasons why Tarrant has such an appreciation for baked goods, it was pure torture watching all those tasty treats spoil right in front of him. He gets especially excited about baked goods that are still warm from the oven. Chocolate chip cookies are definitely a way to Tarrants heart unless you overcook them. Seriously, don’t mess with perfection! Tarrant knows that a slightly undercooked chocolate chip cookie is exactly what heaven tastes like. He knows just how to make the perfect batch of cookies and he made sure of that after Thackery burned three batches in a row. “You totally neglected these cookies…” Tarrant started as he held up one of Thackerys poor excuse for a cookie. “It’s like you gave them no love so they cried a river of tears until they dried out into these lumps of matter that look like cookies but aren’t really cookies….” “They are overcooked and dry!” Mally said matter-of-factly. “Yes yes, dry sad cookies that have cried out all their tears…” Tarrant giggled. “How bout I make the cookies from now on. I will make them with lots of love and they will taste heavenly!” Thackery responded by picking up one of the burned cookies and throwing it at Tarrants head while laughing like the mad March hare that he was. Tarrant ducked just in time and the cookie flew past him and hit the sleeping Bandersnatch right in the nose. The frumious creature jolted awake and looked around startled. Once he spotted to cookie he gave it a few licks before devouring it. He then sniffed around the grass while licking his lips seeing if anything else tasty was thrown on the ground. Tarrant looked at the bandersnatch and laughed. “There’s plenty more where that came from… In fact there’s three batches of them! These cookies are special, they like to be in the company of other cookies. They are a FAMILY of cookies that need to stay together and be eaten together! Will you do the honors of eating them all so that they can be together forever?” Mally laughed hysterically while Tarrant continued to ramble nonsense to the bandersnatch putting the plate of burned cookies in front of him. Tarrant looked over at Mally and whispered “That should do it.” The bandersnatch ate all the cookies in less than five seconds. Thackery stared into his tea cup looking lost for a moment. He then pulled a burned cookie out of his pocket and dipped it into his tea cup. “This cookie needs a bath” Thackery explained, taking a bite out of the burned tea soaked cookie, making a face of disapproval. Tarrant smirked at Thackery and shook his head snatching the cookie from his hand and throwing it towards the bandersnatch. The giant muscular creature caught the cookie in mid air. “Don’t you go anywhere. I’ll be back soon with real cookies!.” Tarrant beamed with a big smile on his face. “Alice will be joining us for tea very soon and I want her to know what the perfect cookie tastes like!” Tarrant could barely contain his excitement as he jumped out of his seat and skipped back to the house ready to make the perfect batch of cookies for his Alice and for his best friends.
