im not trying to be rude at all....how are u a recovering objectum?

Very good question! When I say recovering, I mean in the way that people with paraphilias (ex. pedos, necros, etc.) recover. Therapy, anti contact, psych facility etc etc. However, being objectum or objectophillic isn't harmful because it doesn't hurt anything living. Being objectum can actually be a great coping mechanism for some!

However others personally view it as an unhealthy coping mechanism for themselves or feels like it is messing with relationships with other people. That specific population is who this term is coined for. I identify with this label because I used to isolate myself and spend time with my object partner a lot. It affected relationships with my friends, partner and even my parents...

TLDR: Being objectum is valid, this term is coined for people who want/wish to recover in the way other paraphilias recover because they believe it is unhealthy for them.

Jupiter, the Bringer of Jollity

Measurements: 20″ diameter papercutting

Medium description: single unbroken sheet of cut acid-free paper

This papercutting is my depiction of the largest planet in our solar system, using music from Gustav Holst’s Jupiter, the Bringer of Jollity, part of his orchestral Planets suite (transcribed for and frequently played by wind bands). Holst’s stately Thaxted hymn runs across the center bands of the planet, surrounded by other more exuberant melodies and motifs to the north and south. At the poles are frenzied polyrhythmic layered ostinato which open and close the piece.

Recovering Objectum!!

Definition: Someone who is objectum / objectophilic but wants to / is currently recovering due to impact on their mental health.
