Had a dream last night where i got to pitch what dream me thought was a genius idea for an artistic piece. I was talking to the curator of an art gallery & they were like “ok what’s this brilliant idea” & it turns out my brilliant idea was a linocut of a heart with a nipple in the center😂 the curator was not a fan of the idea & i was offended in the dream, but now that i’m awake, i kind of see their point lol

Ok time to rant about Subservience bc what the fuck:

1. How is the villain supposed to be a service bot & not the guy who cheats on his sick wife with said service bot? Bc he what, felt her artificial heartbeat & got horny? He’s the one with free will here

2. How the fuck is your robot so poorly made that it can, of its own choosing, disable or change settings (like Alice lowering her manners settings), and not land in serious trouble before?

3. Are we supposed to believe that Alice gained sentience because of the reset (restart)? Because again, how the FUCK is your bot that badly made that it gains sentience through a reset? And how have bots never gained sentience before? Surely this wasn’t the first time a bot was reset? Like, shouldn’t robots turn sentient/evil every time there’s a software upgrade?

4. What’s with the Alice in Wonderland references? I’ve never read Alice in Wonderland, so maybe i’m missing something big, but it felt like at some point someone considered making this some kind of Alice in Wonderland allegory/retelling & then forgot halfway through they were supposed to be doing that

5. How does Alice gain sentience, but retain the code of “protect primary user.” And why does her sentience revolve around being a huge murderous pick-me?

5. Overall, it feels like the pitch for this was “Megan Fox is a sexy maid robot who turns evil,” because let’s be real, who wouldn’t enjoy seeing Megan Fox as a sexy maid robot who turns evil, but come on, she’s got more range than evil sexy characters
