As i wake up this morning, I remember my Dad Andrew G Meyers… One of the coolest dudes you never met, and smarter than the average dad. As the memories flood in I can't help but imagine what life wouldve been like if he had the chance to finish his life story with us, but I know in the back of my mind I hear him with me daily. Then I start thinking about all the men who were fathers in my family tree, grandpa's, great and great-great grandpa's, and wonder if some of those instincts/voices that speak though could be my ancestors as well… So Happy Fathers day! To my dad, grandpa's, and every other man in my family tree that made it possible for me to give live today, as well as the dads out there that made it possible for life to flourish on their own tree as well.

6 officers charged in Freddie Gray death

Baltimore state’s attorney Marilyn Mosby announced warrants have been issued for the arrest of six officers in connection with the death of Freddie Gray. Mosby said an autopsy ruled Gray’s death a homicide, and a direct result of fatal injury while unrestrained in police wagon. Court Rules Legal papers can be served via Facebook

Just when you thought the world was taking Facebook a little too seriously, a judge in New York has taken it a little further... It is now legal to be served papers on Facebook, yes, Facebook... If someone can prove you've been actively checking your account then it's a viable method of serving you legal documents now :/ Even the famous people aren't safe, flo rida was served papers via fb concerning a legal matter back in 2011, and the courts look at it like this: e-mail wasn't considered an effective method of delivery but now they're also thinking of sending jury summons and more to your email and if u don't comply they will issue a warrant and arrest you, just as in any other summons or subpoena.
