Izzy chuckled. "You are not that bad. You just need to find people who can give you more than a second look like I have. You also need to find your own people."
Green blinked a few times. "And how do...I find those people?" He asked Izzy. "Did we exchange names?"
Cory was laughing as he put in his number. "There is my number. Please text me or call me. I would like to hang out."
Green took his phone back, but he still struggled to speak. "You would?"
"Not at all." Izzy said and took a sip from his glass. "I think you are fun and pretty cute. Like I told you earlier. I would sleep with you."
"Even though I suck at flirting?" He asked him.
That...that was the reaction he was looking for. He was not going to forget it either. It was why he was all smiles. "Give me your phone."
Green still didn't speak. Anything that has to do with the vocals didn't work, but the rest did as he slowly gave him hs phone to do whatever he wanted.
"I think you are doing that pretty well with me, aren't you?" He asked him with a smile.
Green looked up and blinked. He was right. Things had gone well. "You are not tired of me?" He asked him quetly.
Izzy chuckled. "Flirting is not just about complimenting. It is more about being able to have a conversation and keeping the other's attention. Not to disturb the vibe."
"And how do I do that with a stranger? Someone who I am trying to get into my bed or have a date?" Green asked.
Cory smiled and leaned in to kiss on the lips. It was quick, but the intent was there. Yes, he wanted to see his reaction, but he did want to kiss him too.
Green was taken back by the kiss, so much that he was speechless. He didn't know what to say. He didn't even know how to feel! It was crazy.
Izzy was sipping from his glass. "You are not that bad...but you could be better for sure." He told him. "You just need to be a little more confident in yourself.
"Yeah that has always been the issue." Green pulled back and sighed. "I just don't know how to flirt. Like what can I say other than nice eyes or that someone is beautiful?"
Cory faced him and smiled. He knew what he had to do and he was bold enough to do it. "Well, you know what else would be cute about you?"
Green blinked and shook his head. "No, what else would be cute?" He asked him.
Cory had to stop getting dress to look at him. His smile was wide and bright. "Are you really asking me to tell you what would let me think you are not cute?"
"No no...I like that you do...I just want to avoid those so keep thinking that I'm cute." He said lowly.
"Totally." He said and patted his back a few times. "Are you ready?" He asked.
Green took a deep breath and smiled. "Yeah, I'm ready." An hour later and he had his head in between his hands. "That was horrible." He should had told Izzy that he was bad at flirting. Bad at talking in general.
"Yes, Green. I find you cute." He said to him and then walked towards hi locker so he could finally get dress. "Get used to it because it won't change unless you do something to change my mind."
"Hm...and how would that happen?" Because he so wanted to avoid that as much as possible. He would prefer to be cute. Yes, he would prefer that.
" So the rest of the world hates you?" Cory said with a chuckle. "That's impossible because I don't hate you. I even find you quite cute."
"You find me very cute?" And yes that was what he focused on. He was the first to say it...so quickly. It was...so weird...so weird.
"That sucks. What about your parents? Friends?" He asked wanting to know who was responsible for all of these adorableness but also lack of self-seam.
"My mom is the only one with me, her and my grandparents. They have always been supportive. Everybody is...it is debatable when you want to be generous." Green sad, now playing with his fingers.
Izzy smiled. He loved how shy and adorable Green could be. "So shall we skip all of this and go back to my place or yours?" The kanima told him.
Green had a hard time believing that. "I would like to stay if you don't mind. I want to see if you are right." Green told him, some courage in his own words.
"That's good." He said and then took on his shirt and finally slid into it. "In a good way? I have always been blamed for bad things even when they were not my fault."
"You been blamed? Why?" Cory found that quite...harmful. No joke why he appeared to be so shy. In his case, he and his brother Derek had gone to the opposite end.
"I was in the Lacrosse team. The coach always put everything on me for nothing." Green told him. "Teachers did the same, but especially him."
