I took a lil break from tumblr to see if the deer situation would improve. Unfortunately, it’s still ongoing.

Not only that, but the Real Roe Deer Heartbeat video is back up on Heartbeat Experiments’ channel. If you’re just now tuning in, this video in particular features the heartbeat of a deer while it’s being strangled.

He took it down for a while, but he must’ve thought we weren’t paying attention.

Please mass report this video again- leaving a negative comment also does wonders. It’s important to let these people know that they are not welcome in our community.

I'm absolutely amazed by this artistic video by Christopher Janney and the dancer Deyana Popov...

If you ever wonder what is like when a sound normally audible only to the dancer, being shared with the entire audience, this is it.

The simple concept of dancing to one's heartbeat is so cool. It is determined to be a positive feedback loop - faster movement leads to faster heartbeat, then a faster tempo, which leads to even faster movement. Eventually the dancer's heart forgets about how nervous they are, and just pumps blood for the body that craves for oxygen from intense exertion. From this moment, the entire stage enters a cardio zone, just mesmerising.

There are quite a few other performances directed by Christopher but with different dancers and I like this one by Deyana the most. Her heart is reactive to the performance, even before the dance begins. With the solo leading to the finale, her heart races to an astonishing 190 bpm. The body inside has turned into a storm, and the entire audience could hear just that, yet she wraps all that storm up and presents the most professional and steady movements to this extremely high beats "music".

Could anyone write a longer piece from Deyana's perspective, how she thinks and feels before, during and after this performance? Yes, I am commissioning a fantasy! Because I am so fascinated by this rn XDDD Please comment and share :)))

Almost died today, I was inserting a 2 inch needle into my heart, but I accidentally went too far…instead of just becoming irregular and strained, it stopped completely. I assume the reason it stopped is because of my body’s poor ability to stabilize heart rate, so a major stress just stopped it completely. It stoped For what felt like hours but was probably about 12 seconds, it did slowly recover as I regained full consciousness and feeling in my arms, however for close to 15 minutes my heart rate was between 15-30 with extreme irregularities. But boy, what a painful experience for my heart.

Had a kinesitherapist that was doing the bronchiolitis fixes on babies to help'em breathe. And for that she had a Littmann pediatric steth, but the classic black double-belled one, just with smaller parts.

My oh my how many times did I borrow that tool just for my own pleasure, but I had to be quick. Funniest was combining this and the TENS i had for my own therapy, never been caught, thought about stealing but nah, the babies need it more than me~.
