The Holy Grail (sort of) of Stethoscopes.

Found one on eBay and ordered it. It will likely need the tubing replaced (and some cleaning with rubbing alcohol), but it's in great shape otherwise. Can't wait to place the cold chestpiece on my chest and hear my heart thud inside it.

UPDATE: It was worth every penny. And the tubing is in great shape for being 25-30 years old. Won’t need replacing for a while.

Quick compilation of my heart with the ultrasound. You see all four valves and the bloodflow with colorflow doppler. Tricuspid valve looks nice and healthy - maybe trace regurgitation (very typical). Mitral valve does have more regurgitation, but if you've listened to my heart - you know there's an audible murmur there. Can't really tell as well with aortic and pulmonary, but I tried my best. Hope you enjoy! Need to do some more exams with this thing. Let me know if you're interested. We can do an (almost) full cardio workup!

How do you vet a partner before meeting them? I have an opportunity to meet up with another male (gay like the last one) but I’ve not chatted with him a lot. He’s also into the medical exam side more than cardiophilia. He’s aware I am straight and things must stay platonic and above the belt no matter what.

If anybody noticed, I left the Discord heart servers recently. As a 40-year old straight male, I didn’t really feel I belonged on them. The majority of members there were younger than 30 and I felt like an outsider or a creep chatting/messaging with them. Maybe that’s a me thing, or maybe I did unintentionally creep them out. When I made myself available to share, there was never significant interest. I didn’t see this as a way for me to have friendships or relationships.

While this is a sexual fetish for me, I respect the feelings of everybody and never intentionally make unwanted advances. I never DMed or added anybody who didn’t want such a thing.

I will remain on Discord but I will probably stay off the servers for the time being. Not that anybody cared about this anyway.
