Wilt thou forgive that sin where I begun, Which was my sin, though it were done before?
I looooove this piece of Donne metaphysical poetry. It symbolizes the length at which Donne will go to to be accepted into heaven and not left in limbo. He will ask for forgiveness from an act that even the most devout catholic wouldn't even take responsibility for as a sin. He has his sin, who was a sin in itself, recognized future sin, but asks yet for forgiveness from God almighty.
