So I upgraded to Windows 10 recently, and now my laptop doesn’t recognize my scanner, and I can’t find a Win 10 driver for my scanner as of yet (Vupoint Magic Wand scanner).

So, expect the next few comics or so to be taken with my phone camera. :( Think of it as a throwback to when I started this blog! Yeah! Vintage quality!

Daytime temperatures have been in the 90s since mid-June here and it kind of sucks.

Stu and I got a portable air conditioning unit, but so far, it doesn’t do much to cool our apartment down at all. I guess we can just stand right in front of it all the time. Sigh.

It’s been a good, busy time, and life is indeed good.

We went on a getaway to a winery last weekend, slept in a yurt, and took in lots of nature, views, vineyards, food, and wine.

It was a good weekend.

I put this comic off for a while because I knew it’d be a challenge to draw... and it was.

But man, the Marvel/DC-style sound effect thingamajigs were fun!

I WAS going to upload this to just my Instagram account, when I realized that it was not designed for comics, or anything that’s not a photo. Not only do I have to use a mobile device to upload stuff (my comics are cropped and adjusted on my laptop, so that’s impractical), Instagram can only upload square images, and crops any images that aren’t square. Hopefully I needn’t explain why that won’t work either.

So I’m gonna stick with Tumblr, and use Instagram for god-knows-what.

I’ve been curious, who told you to go to Instagram? Because when you said it was good for comics my first thought was “uhh what? Does ‘comics’ mean ‘pictures of sushi’”

Stu and did some traveling this month, and we really wanna go on another trip.

Also, OK I’ll be using Tumblr for comics too. Some of my siblings are more avid Instagram users and tried to get me to make an account for a couple years.

I have finally been convinced to get an Instagram account and host my comics there. So, that's what I'm going to do! Tumblr is good, but kinda annoying, honestly. Dunno what I'll do with this Tumblr account now. But in the meantime... Comicsbycortney on Instagram - hit me uppppp

Also, for anyone curious, I’m reading “The Count of Monte Cristo”. Gawd that book is long, but it is worth the read. At least, so far, it is.
