The Day of Arafah is when the religion of Islam was complete. Thus, the final verse of the Quran was revealed to the Prophet ﷺ on this day, during his Farewell Pilgrimage.
This day I have perfected your religion for you, completed My Favor upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion
- Surah Al-Maidah, Verse 3
وَلَا يَحْزُنْكَ قَوْلُهُمْ
“Do not let their words sadden you.”
