Therefore, we strive to keep it from becoming a comedy - or at least not too much. But we cannot foresee where the evolution of the script may take us.

What’s the whole story about again? I ask this because I only liked looking at the pictures and artwork never got the point of it all.

The main theme of "Dreams in Noir" is Lydia’s nightmares and how her paranormal gift causes them to take over her waking reality.

"Marginalia" is the story of a single paranormal investigation conducted by Lydia and Rory for the purpose of their show. Of course, in the background of this investigation is the story of a somewhat toxic (pun intended ;) ) past romance between a certain grave robber and a femme fatale plague doctor. Here, we explore with Quintus (who does the text redaction) the similarities between these two unhealthy relationships, the characters involved, as well as the theme of the dead souls who are trapped in an obsession related to the moment of their death.

Both stories are a fanfiction experiment based on the idea: “Let’s take the main points of the original story and rewrite them in a less comedic style.” Of course, there are comedic moments here and there, but that was the main idea.
