I realize now that it will take time, that the road ahead is long and shrouded in darkness. It is a road that will not always take me where I wish to go – and I doubt I will live to see it end.            "I am not treating it as a joke," He is honest, that much is certain. She means to argue her point further but pushes the matter aside to answer his question instead, hoping to drop the subject of her supposed ‘foolishness’ for following him. She knew what she was doing, she was not oblivious to the risks following him could have carried.

           "I merely wish to offer my assistance in whatever task you may need help with. It is not often one finds another assassin in an unfamiliar territory, and who knows, perhaps an alliance could be beneficial to both of us."

"If you wish than an alliance can be made," he pulled out his tomahawk and pointed it at her "But know this, you do anything to jeopardize my mission, I will not hesitate to leave you and go on my way."

Boots scuffed against dirt as he moved among the city citizens, sliding in and out between them. This contract was supposed to be easy. Templars were smart, but not that smart. He was supposed to be in and out with a chance to get some grub and rum in between the stops from his location to the William. But no, things were just mucked up again. Apparently the man had already been targeted by Kenway not only once, but twice, causing paranoia to run rampant among the Templar’s mind. It plagued him.

It should have made things easier, but life was never easy for James Kidd. God himself swore that.

Coat flapping in the slight breeze even as he continued to push his way through and avoid the wary vision of the guards using his sight and dodging at the very last moments, he eventually caught sight of the man, highlighted in a gold and red masque. Umber eyes blinked and the rest of the world faded away to white noise. He was so close… Just a few more steps. Hidden blade removing itself from the sheath with due haste, lips curled in amusement. Perhaps he could get a drink afterwards ——

Kenway caught sight of his target, his outfit was different as to blend into the crowd better since his slip up caused the Templar target to panic increasing the security, the name Kenway was brought up multiple times, but this wasn't the Kenway they knew in the Caribbean. Connor Kenway, was beginning to aid The Brotherhood with their contracts down there. He was brutal, efficient and a reason to be feared by his enemies. Connor moved in on the man, but caught the glint of metal. Looking back he fixed his gaze onto a nearby rooftop, a couple of riflemen kept a better gaze and look on the target. He had to stop the man before he did something stupid. Connor grabbed the man's wrist.

"I would find a better approach." he warned, whispering into his ear "You'll be shot dead even if you catch the guy."

"Miss, I’m unfamiliar with some of these newer weapons. Do you mind giving me a small little demonstration on how to use these?" asked Connor, looking over the silver weapon loadout that was provided by Darck Eve and her crew for this little hunting job.

"We tried to make them fit your prefered use of weaponry. you have a silver axe here, and a set of silver hidden blades. However, I can see where you get confused with the rapid fire gun." Darck picked up the weapon, and unloaded it. "This is meant to rapidly fire bullets, much like a gattling gun. However, it’s in a  smaller form. We will need it back when you are finished. It fires pure silver bullets, blessed in a church on holy ground." She shoved the clip back into the gun, and clicked the safety off. "That is how you load it. Now, this button I clicked is the safety, keep it on unless you are using it. And make sure to keep a tight grip."

To show how it worked, Darck aimed at a tree, and opened fire. ‘TATATATATATATA’ bullets slammed into the trunk at a rapid pace, split seconds after one another. She stopped, leaving the barrel smoking, and half the ammo left in the clip. “You’ve only got three clips after this one left. Try not to waste it. The next weapon we have-” Darck placed the machine gun down, and picked up what looked like a crossbow, but far more advanced.

"This is obviously a crossbow, however. It has far more power and strength behind it than your average one. It’s made of resistant metals and fibers. The arrows are carbon with silver tips. You must keep this tightly held or it could become damaged. Here is how you load it. 6 at a time." Carefully, she slid those arrows into place, on a revolving center piece. Bringing the hunting item up, she aimed down the iron sights, at the tree she fired at once before… And pulled the trigger. One arrow launched, then another, and another. A controlled firing of the trigger. And the arrows got buried about half way into the trick wood. "These arrows are re-enforced, so they can be reused a few times. But, they are not invincible. You have a nice supply here, but remember to retrieve them for prolonged ammo and use."

"We've come a long way in the future." he commented after inspecting the weapons before him. "You do have some regular ammunition so I can test this small Gatling gun out?" holding up the Submachine Gun. The crossbow was a welcome feel, he would be able to handle it well, but the gun seemed like a wild and uncontrollable one.

"I know the risks and the dangers. And if you know me as well as you say, then you know I would do whatever it takes to get this job done."

"Very well. I shall provide you with silver weaponry, and give you the last known location. I suggest avoiding the hunt during a full moon. That is when they are strongest and have least control."
