I know many people expect SJM to ignore the Ember bonus chapter and just move on like Nesta's not in a bad place and Nessian's just perfectly living their HEA, but she added so many of Nesta's negative emotions into the book itself.

Bryce and Ember both commented on the "longing" look on Nesta's face, and that doesn't include when Ember mentioned it in her bonus chapter.

The entire scene of Az trying to coax the Mask off of Nesta was in the book itself to show us that Nesta did not want to take it off. Cassian was not enough for her to will the Mask off. We find out the why in Ember's bonus chapter.

Nesta's magic flared at Az's mention of Feyre and Elain in the book itself. We have no idea why, but it's clear that her sisters make her want to keep the Mask on.

The Ember bonus chapter just showed us why Nesta had such a negative emotional state in the book itself. I really don't feel like SJM would have brought up Nesta's emotional state at all, in either HOFAS or the bonus chapter, if she wasn't going to address it in the next book.

Heyy everyone! Happy Friday! Dropping in the long awaited and final of the Bat Boy strut series, and another therapy illustration as I waded through some appointments this past week (nurses were oogling over my shoulder). In my head, I can't see Az taking part in a bat-catwalk willingly along side the other two goofballs, so he may seem a bit annoyed here, but flexing all the same. A companion to Rhys' Invisible Lint and Cassian's Mocking Grin illustration from previous years. That last photo is a close-up to show his hands. Just his hands, y'all...
