Sometimes, the only finger that counts.
Kiev, Ukraine: Right Sector threatens anti-war protesters outside U.S. Embassy
By Yuri Kot Right Sector guards United States Embassy! June 3: Today at 12:00, 1,000 protesters gathered at the Embassy of the United States to demand an end to inciting war and killing people in Donbass!
Slogans: - United States – shame! - No U.S. weapons to Ukraine! - United States kills Donbass! People chanted “shame!” and demanded the truth about the real reasons the United States unleashed carnage and genocide of civilians in Donbass.
When the protesters tried to gather en masse at the Embassy entrance, blocking the road, police and mobs in camouflage drove the protesters away. Three people were detained. The men in camouflage presented themselves as Right Sector and began to threaten the rest of the protesters. First they demanded names, addresses of residence and household composition, then threatened people with punishment if the rally did not disperse in the next five minutes.
As a result of these threats, an hour after the start of the rally, people dispersed. But … they promised to return.

As activists, students and workers gather in Washington, D.C., for the “Spring Rising” anti-war mobilization March 18-21, many are probably unaware that 300 U.S. troops arrived in Ukraine this month, with another 300 expected to join them shortly.
The U.S. soldiers are stationed at the Yavoriv Training Area in Lviv, near the Polish border in western Ukraine. Their mission, according to the Pentagon, is to train divisions of the Ukrainian National Guard.
But their presence also establishes a provocative U.S. military “footprint” in this key agricultural and industrial country on the Russian Federation’s western border.
The first open and public U.S. military presence on Ukrainian soil comes amid a civil war raging in former southeastern Ukraine, now the independent Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, also called Novorossiya. It’s accompanied by unprecedented NATO war games and military buildup threatening Russia.
All this despite a ceasefire agreement, negotiated by Russia, Germany and France, which went into effect Feb. 15. As happened during previous ceasefires, the U.S.-backed government in Kiev routinely violates the terms and is using the “breathing spell” to rebuild its military forces to assault the embattled Donbass mining region.
Two super powers this close to each other? Not a good idea...
I’m all about those burn bright, die fast romances where you love harder than you’ve ever loved before for two weeks or a month and then drop of the face off the earth, never to see them again because none of us are truly in this for the long run.
I hope you look for me in everyone else and panic when you realize that they’ll never be exactly the same.

R2-D2, often referred to as Artoo, was an R2-series astromech droid manufactured by Industrial Automaton prior to 32 BBY. Resourceful and spunky, the droid developed an adventurous personality during his many decades of operation. Inside of his cylindrical frame were many arms, sensors, and other tools that could be extended to fulfill various needs. Along with his counterpart, the protocol droid C-3PO, R2-D2 constantly found himself directly involved in pivotal moments of galactic history. His bravery, coupled with his many gadgets, played large roles in saving the galaxy time and time again. Like other astromech droids, R2-D2 could walk on two legs or use a third leg to roll across the ground. (x)
