//I wanna make an official post that goes on all my blogs rn b/c im just….busted.

I’m hyperfixated on some things, and have lost hyperfixation on other things, but whats the most important is:

Something big happened in my life that really hurt me emotionally. Nothing anyone did here, it was something else.

Only certain things are helping and I’m just…..my Muse to write on Tumblr has dwindled….and I’m so fucking scared….

I have Sovl and Sol in my dm’s saying its okay, and I know its okay for them, but I have other people who while they don’t interact w/ me, they follow me and like my content I GUESS….and I’m afraid to disappoint people on all the blogs and I’m scared to lose friends and followers and I’m crying but I need to step back and focus on the few things that are making the pain go away which is just…talking to friends, focusing on one thing at a time, and getting my shit situated because it hit me so fucking hard you have no idea.

I can’t go into detail, its so complicated and so personal it’s a train wreck, but know that it broke me mentally and emotionally and im not okay in the slightest as much as i try to smile and be funny for friends im not okay.

This is gonna be reblogged to all my blogs, but please know this:

To all my ships, my muses love their partners, they love them dearly and I hope we dont lose them while I’m on this little hiatus of mine, and i hope your muses dont forget that, just like i hope you dont.

The person, a woman, is pretty banged up, and in intensive care for a few days, unconscious for only two of them.

Reports are that she’s doing well, eating and drinking, and she’s friendly.

She’s 28, 4′10, Latino-German, no living family.

However a request was made that if he were to visit, that he keep his mask on....an odd request, but it was apperentally calm and firm.

She also...came with her own watch.....one that looks far more advanced than the ones at the Society.

“Boy am I glad we both have great endurance, with our powers. Otherwise this would hurt a lot.”

Trying to channel his quipping nature, Peter didn’t want the situation to remain awkward between them; given that they’d been on good terms with each other, for the most part.

“Don’t worry about it! I’m used to people hugging me… Mostly because it’s how some New Yorkers show their thanks when I help. I guess this is different.” He’d nervously laugh; likely realizing that he was probably making it more awkward. He’d let go, too; taking the Cheetos with a raised brow, under his mask.

“Well… It kind of helps that he’s been a fan of mine since I first became Spider-Man. Taught the kid how to defend himself, even before he got his powers. You should’ve seen the look on his face, when he and I spoke for the first time. And now look at him…”

Peter was proud of Miles for who he’d become. Sure, being Spider-Man was a dangerous job, but… Miles seemed to love it wholeheartedly.

“Seriously… Don’t mention it. I understand completely. You’re still new to my Earth, as far as being here goes. I can get you up to speed on things… At least as far as events are concerned. I owe you that, don’t I?”

Even if she’d curled in on herself, Peter would softly pat her on the back; looking, still, at their surroundings. It was… Nice.

“It’s not like he’s hard to reach. He’s a really good kid, Aria. He hasn’t called me or texted me in a bit, so he might be busy helping his mom. I can see if he’d want to meet you… Outside of crimefighting, I mean.”

“Yea...it’d be helpful if you caught me up on stuff...in return I can keep on helping with a few tips and tricks of my own when you two are fighting, if you’ll have me~”

She smiles...I think....Her eye raised up, so it looks like she did.

She humms a bit, taking a bite of a chip as she leans back to think.

“I dunno if it’d be safe for Miles to meet me...I’m a bit....as you’ve seen, overbearing....what if I’m too touchy? Too huggy? Too....me....”

She faces him.

“Plus I’m a random adult woman, what would his mother think?”

She groans, huffing a bit.

“Lets wait a bit longer....a month or two more before I meet the kid head on...for now I’ll still help with callouts and fights though, but outside of Spidering, nothing.”

A groan would leave Peter, when he was suddenly snapped up into a hard hug; his arms going limp, as he wasn’t quick to reciprocate the gesture. Misunderstanding or not, having to correct such a touchy subject and its entire nature, personally, made him relive something he wished he could’ve changed. Sure, his Miles was okay, as far as he knew, but Peter… He struggled with guilt when it reared its head.

Peter didn’t have much to say when Aria tried to explain her side of things, but a heavy sigh escaped him as she spoke of another Miles. He wasn’t unaware of other variants of Miles Morales, since the Society did end up chasing after one not that long ago. Still, without correction, the previous question Aria asked brought the topic up. He wasn’t mad at her, just… Guilt-ridden.

“It was just a misunderstanding, Aria. It happens. It’s not your fault.” Peter would manage to loosely put an arm around Solstice’s waist; mildly hugging her back, as she tried to comfort him. He didn’t understand anything that was said in Spanish, but he could only imagine that it was apologetic based on her tone.

Meanwhile, as far as family went, Peter didn’t really have any left. He’d lost Aunt May. MJ wasn’t really in his life as much anymore. Miles, however, was like a nephew to him, in a way; the Webhead teaching Miles how to be Spider-Man, and watching him grow.

“I.....I just.....”

She hugs him a bit tighter.

“....I don’t like upsetting the people I care about....I’m sorry....I hope I didn’t overstep by...getting all huggy...”

Reluctantly, she lets go, albeit slowly.

She unsticks and hands him back his cheetos, kinda curling in on herself.

“....You’ve done a good job, teaching him...I’ve been watching...he’s pretty skilled....you’re an Amazing Spiderman, and an Amazing teacher, Peter.”

“.......I....I should have known better than to bring it up, timelines are different, again I’m sorry...”

“.....I.....ahm.....I’d uh...love to meet the kid sometime....I bet he’s a sweetheart like you are, if you’ve been in charge of him...”

“I don’t need them! I usually just order pizza whenever I need to eat. Or anything else, really. I swear I don’t live on a strictly pizza-based diet!”

“… If by he, you mean the guy under this mask, talking to you? Yeah… I failed. That was no one’s fault but my own, Aria. Miles didn’t have his powers when it happened, and it blind-sided me, because I was attending the event without being… Spider-Man.” His hands balled into tight fists, after they were void of any snacks that he could crush.

“Miles’ mom knows that he’s Spider-Man, but we haven’t spoken about the society. She’s been very supportive of Miles.” His mood wasn’t quite improving, over having to relive past events so suddenly.

“No… I don’t really think I have. Not an empanada, at least.” His own brow was raised, but it had been obvious that it was out of shock, that Aria said something about someone else failing. He’d just avert his gaze to anywhere else for a moment.

“The Miles who became Spider-Man, here, isn’t the same as yours…”

She snaps up, quickly sealing both snacks and sticking them to the ground before dragging Pete up into a hard hug.

“No! Nonononono! Not you! No. No in my timeline Miguel told Miles about his dad while he was Spiderman and he tried to stop the event from happening, and Miles managed to save his dad. It had nothing to do with you I shouldn’t have assumed I’m so so sorry cariño por favor no estés triste por favor.” (Honey/Dear [affectionately] please don’t be sad please)

She keeps him in the hug, tucking his head into her shoulder with one hand, the other gently rubbing his back and neck.

She’s whispering things in Spanish, things he no doubt can’t understand, but her tone is apologetic, calming, sad.

She’s so much smaller than him, but trying so so hard to hold him close, comfort him like she wants to.

She has no family....The Spider Society IS her family....All the younger Spiders go to her, all of them are either her size or only a bit taller, so they can curl up and fit in her lap when they need to be comforted by the little Latina ‘mom’ of the Society (Second to Jess of course)...but Pete’s pretty big compared to her, so the best she can do is hold him as close as possible and whisper apologies.

“Yeah, I guess that makes sense. Can’t say I haven’t done that, myself, when a criminal meets me for the first time. Makes it funnier, sometimes. The dark and brooding act never gets old.”

He’d manage a soft laugh again, before returning her gaze.

“Can’t say that I’ve met S.H.I.E.L.D yet. And Peter B. and I get along, when we do talk to each other. He was really proud of me for getting back together with my MJ, but… That didn’t really last.” He went quiet for a moment, before moving onto the last part of her questions.

“Miles is doing okay. His dad… Uh…” Peter went quiet again; sighing and looking up at the open sky again. Part of him felt responsible for what happened, but he’d never admit it. He’d try to shrug it off, once she offered… A Cheeto?!

“H-Huh? Oh, yeah… Sure.” He’d take the Cheeto; nearly laughing when she listed off more snacks.

“That’s all you have in there? No Spider-tools?” That, coming from the guy who doesn’t even have a pouch.

“Says the dude who doesn’t even have a pouch.” She laughs, letting him take the little bag from her hand.

“So you do get along, thats nice....and....”

“....I see....so he failed....”

She sighs, taking the BBQ chips for herself.

“...He’s a good guy, Officer Morales. He’s let me spend the night more than once because I didn’t wanna go home. Yea, I’m a big adult, but he knows about Miles and he knows about the Society....so...he knows about what I deal with...I’m friends with Miles’ mom too, more than his dad. She and I make Apple Empanada’s every now and then for everyone....I make extra for Miguel...”

“You ever had a sweet empanada? Or a homemade regular one for that matter? Homemade at ALL?”

She looks at him, an obvious eyebrow raised under her mask, the bottom of it lifted up for chip consumption.

Peter would remain seated next to her; nodding while she chose to lie down and stare at the open sky above them. If it wasn’t for Miles, the two of them likely wouldn’t have the time to share a peaceful conversation; crime never quite giving any of them a proper break. With three of them around, though, it seemed as though free time was more easily given.

“I don’t know too much about you either, aside from the things you’ve told me before. Your Miguel isn’t quite like ours, but I guess we should come to expect differences when there are so many Spider-People. I can’t begin to tell you how weird it is to talk to myself, but know nothing about how other versions of me have lived. I guess it’s nice to know that I’m not alone, though.” She likely couldn’t tell, but under his mask, the Webhead was smiling rather softly.

“Since you don’t really know a lot about me, what is it that you wanted to know? Let me guess… How many times I’ve put people like Rhino back in the Raft? How long I’ve been Spider-Man?” He was trying to lighten the mood a bit; softly nudging Solstice, before deciding to lie down next to her. The relaxation could be afforded, for the moment.

“Eh, my favourite thing is to remain mysterious until the right moment, it’s fun that way. Keeps em on their toes~”

She giggles, looking over at him.

“Nah, I’m more wondering if you’ve met S.H.I.E.L.D yet, or how you and Benji get along. Perhaps how Miles is doing, and if his Dad is okay in this Timeline.”

She reaches down into a small pouch on her leg, pulling out an unopened bag of....cheetos?

She holds it out to him.

“Cheeto? I’ve no need for web fluid refills, so I just keep snacks in there....I also have Doritos and Fritos.”

She looks down at the pouch.

“...And Lays, though only Barbeque.”

....Just how big is that little pouch...?

She jumps back once set down, her own one lens widening at the sight of him, before shaking herself off.

“I just...didn’t look at how close the building was....and my fingers didn’t stick...” That usually only happens when under stress for these guys...

“A better question is if you REALLY had to break the window. That’s gonna cost an arm and eight legs.”

She’s slloowwwllly backing up, inch by inch, hoping he wont notice until theres enough distance for her to bolt.

She’s...not ready to face him if he takes that mask off.

"That's easily replaceable." Miguel comments casually taking a few steps toward her. It was clear this woman was the one causing all the commotion and Miguel was honestly quite thankful that she'd thrown herself right into him the way she had. Made his job of tracking her down a lot easier.

"What I would like to know is how you managed to find your way here in the first place. There are no records of you at all and I'm very meticulous when it comes to who I let join this team." He could tell she likely wanted to run but he was hoping she wouldn't, he would prefer for things to remain simple.

His steps cause hers to get bigger, but stop eventually.

Either she’s afraid of him, which is understandable with the fact she’s so much shorter than him, or she’s nervous to get caught.

“...Even if I told you, you wouldn’t believe me. Universe travel is one thing, but until you did it yourself you never thought this possible until....until my situation occurred....”

She looks down, to the side, behind her. She’d never be fast enough to out run him...never has been. Every time she tried to snatch his work to make him relax, she got about ten feet before he had her on the floor, softly scolding her in Spanish.

“.....Look okay. I can tell you don’t want me to book it, and my ribs hurt from hitting the window like a car windshield...so we’re gonna make a deal that benefits both of us, you information wise, me comfort wise.”

“I’ll come with you, tell you what you want, let you scan my watch to an EXTENT....”

“....But no Cell....And...” She lowers her head a bit, turning away with her nose up. “YouGottaKeepYourMaskOn.”

She spoke fast, but it was understandable.

The only reason that a member of the Society hadn’t come to this Peter’s Earth to rectify her status as a potential anomaly, was because Peter had already spoken to his Miguel about housing Aria, until things were fixed. If she wasn’t able to leave, though, she wouldn’t need to worry about that concern. However, Peter chose not to say anything about it, as it wasn’t the right time to bring it up.

When she leaned into him, he’d just continue rubbing her back softly; sighing from the tension of this whole predicament. Two months without seeing her, and this was where their friendship picked up.

When Aria finished talking, though, the Webhead would move his hand to rest on top of one of hers; the Wall-Crawler capable of serious moments, when they were needed.

“Then make this your home, Aria. You’ve already been a help around here, and I can help you find an apartment. Sure, we might make Jonah lose his mind with three Spider-People, but my home is your home. I mean that.”

“......I...”

She smiles a bit.

“I’ll think about it. Right now I just...wanna relax...not do any more thinking or crying...”

She sits back up on her own, yawning slightly before laying down, staring up at the open sky.

“You know, you know a Hell-ton about me...but I don’t know much about you...well, you specifically....I’ve never met the ‘you’ of my time...just Benji Parker...”

“Ah...that might sound weird huh...everyone calls him Peter B, since his middle name is Benjamin, but he lets me call him Benji instead. Jess started doin’ it too.”

“Gwen called him Bojangles once, and that Hobie kid called him Bibbles once or twice~”

“He takes it all with a grain of salt and a spoon of sugar, he’s a good guy. His MJ’s lucky.....I wonder how he and Mayday are handling Miguel....He’s probably losing his marbles right now, and without me there it’s gonna be hard calming him down...”

-Cut to her timeline for a moment-

Theres things flying, claws ripping things apart, and several spider-people paralyzed from being bit. Peter B had to go take Mayday home real fast because its too dangerous, Jess is trying to talk to the angry Latino and calm him with words, Miles and Gwen are trying to catch what he throws, and Hobie is recording it all on his phone. Oh....and Lyla’s panicking in the corner.

-Back to where we are-

“....It’s probably fine.”

“… What?”

Well, this certainly wasn’t how he wanted their reunion to start; humor obviously not being the way to ease the tension of the situation, as he understood all too well that not being able to do something so important was devastating.

He’d sit himself next to Aria; a hand awkwardly patting her back, as Peter’s brows furrowed under his mask. Oh boy… This was a predicament. He’d listen as best as he could; even going so far as to gently rub Solstice’s back rhythmically, for support. It wasn’t much, but he was trying.

When she mentioned how much time it would take, generally, before the proper technology was invented, however, Peter used his free hand to look at his Spider Society watch; doing only what he was aware of, for the time being.

“I wouldn’t say that, Solstice… If I go to an Earth that has Miguel in it, in the year 2099, or just wait for about four years, long as that might be, they should have the technology invented by then. Yeah, it’ll feel like you won’t see them again, but… It’s not impossible to fix things. It’ll just take time. Or, if they push hard enough, they could try to meet a deadline sooner. A lot of us Spider-Men are pretty smart… Present company included.”

“....Peter...I know you’re trying to help...really...I do....But not only would it be too hard for me to look at Miguel...he’ll just see me as an Anomaly and lock me up....he wont listen, nor will he know how to build what mine did...he and Benji did it together...”

She leans into him a bit, accepting the offered comfort.

“I only have a picture of what ONE side of ONE small piece looked like....no blueprints no 3D materials....not even any idea of what it’s made of...”

“I know.....I know you’re trying to be kind, think positively.....but.....”

“There’s no way home for me.”

“And that’s that.”

“....I lied......I lied to you....to myself...I can’t get home...I’ve no idea how to do it, no idea how to do any of it...no idea where to start.”

She curls up, stopping the music before it starts again.

She sniffs a bit, shoulders scrunching up. She’s crying.

“I can’t get home.....I can’t get back to Miguel....to Beji....Jess....”

“The tech isn’t invented here yet....it’s another hundred years, forward into Mig’s time, past it, 2103...”

She just...falls apart infront of him, her mask soaking with tears as she grips herself, ripping at the fabric of her suit.

“I can’t.....I...I won’t....I won’t see him again.....I...I’ll never be able to tell him....tell him what he meant to me....tell them what they meant to me...I...”

She lets her head drop, sobbing softly.

“Hey! It’s called mask hair! I think it’s pretty nice, all things considered.” He’d playfully scoff at her joke at his expense, since he did such things all the time against his superpowered villains.

“I don’t think a beard would make the mask very comfortable to wear, Aria. I’m 25!” Her laughter did bring a smile to his face, though his cheeks turned a touch pink. While they were in a public setting, the attention drawn to them didn’t quite bother him.

Although… The sudden physical closeness was a bit new, and he wasn’t sure if he was the most comfortable with it, or even uncomfortable. Eyes were starting to look their way, though.

“Compared to me, since I have a baby face? Maybe. Those wrinkles can sure creep up on you!” Obviously joking, he would softly nudge Aria when the line moved a bit; the two of them being up next.

“25? You look 18~”

“Whats the matter, don’t like being looked at? It’s life, kid, get used to it because everyones gonna stare at some point or someday. Besides….”

She looks around, confirming her own suspicions.

“They’re looking at me…you’re being teased by a pretty woman, don’t forget.”

She’s not wrong…most if not all eyes are on her.

She steps up. Soft cone, Chocolate.

“Is that supposed to be a bad thing?” Another softhearted response to her teasing came from Peter.

Although, being called a kid didn’t quite sit well with him, no matter how jovial he was.

“I graduated from kid before I turned 18. And you’re not much older than I am…” His response was still as much as a quip as his alter-ego would give, but the serious, scathing tone was impossible to miss. He wasn’t quite a fan of it.

“Their staring isn’t bothering me, Aria. I never said it was.” He’d slightly roll his eyes, before stepping up himself, to Cherry Vanilla ice cream with a soft cone.

She grabs his wrist gently.

“….Sorry….I…I’m used to being around people so much younger than me, it’s a reflex, not intended to call you a child….and…I just..”

“I’m….I’m used to Miggy, okay? He never liked eyes in his direction, and mos of my time was either training newbies or with him….It’s just a default reaction, Peter….I didn’t mean to upset you…I’m sorry…”

She pays for the ice cream before just kinda…walking out on her own, head down.

…Seems she’s embarrassed that she upset him a little…and mad at herself that she did, too.

She vanishes into the crowd outside, pulling her hood up before dropping into a small portal once away from the main group of people.

Once she’s on her feet, halfway across the city, she just looks at the icecream before tossing it, sitting on the ground and leaning on the wall, head down.

“….Congrats, Ari…you upset your new friend….”

“I’m not Miguel.” While some could shrug off being called kid, the loss of his Uncle Ben and Aunt May, not even a year or so prior, left a rather bitter taste in his mouth. For as comedic as Peter was, he wasn’t without his moments of seriousness or hurt.

Silently, once he was given his ice cream, and after Aria walked out on her own, Peter overheard a small child and his mother mentioning that they were out of Cherry Vanilla ice cream. While it was Peter’s favorite, the goodhearted man within couldn’t allow even a small thing like that to go without righting it.

“Here ya go, buddy. I can always get more another time.” Offering a smile before going outside, and slipping into an alleyway to become his alter-ego once more, his current wants were not to find Aria. Web-swinging would clear his frustrated head, and the city was pretty peaceful for the time being.

If either of them wanted to see each other again, it wasn’t as if they had no means of reaching each other. For the time being, though…

He wanted to clear his head. It wasn’t like him to get frustrated, unless under reasonable, stressful situations…

THWIP!

Peter sighed. If he ran into her while he was swinging, he wouldn’t initiate any sort of conversation. Not now.
