Who wants to plot?
I'm switching my wifi companies cause I never have it
âI might need that in writing, but Iâll settle for a verbal promise for now.â She laughed, stepping back to smile at him. âIs that a vampire pun? Because I think you could do way better than that. For old times, you think they still run?â
"Hey I never go back on my word. One of my wolf qualities you know." He cracked a smile. "Vampire pun? No way. And they do run. Faster than you slow poke." He jabbed playfully.
âYou wouldnât have hurt me Jake. You never have and never will.â She looked at him. âSo what? Are you going to stay this age forever, watch your family and friends die, why? For me. I canât do that to you Jake.â
"I never wanna test that theory. You know that. If I didn't kill myself your dad would." He shrugged, narrowing his eyes. "What part of you're my gravity do you not understand Nessie? Question, would you want to live without me?"
â is now accepting curious anons.
Replies will be here shortly;
âI am really hoping that my family forgot about my birthday.. I could do without a party this year.â
She let the concern show freely on her face, nodding slowly as he spoke. âI suppose I canât argue with you, my darling. You were wrong to leave your pack, even if you did it for the right reasons. But you knew that when you left, and you left anyway. Why is that, my dear?â she asked softly. âWhy would you do something that would cause you so much pain later? Is chasing self-destruction a habit of yours?â
She kept her hands to herself, clasped together tightly. âDo I need a reason to care?â she countered, shaking her head. âEither way, it doesnât matter. What does matter is you trust that I care, or you wouldnât have opened up in the first place.â
"Self destruction is a common trait among us shapeshifters. And the fact that I carry that trait already makes it even worse." He noticed the concern on her face, and it made his demeanor soften up just a bit. "I don't know why I left." He shrugged, eyes trailing to the ground. "I felt out of control, so I felt it best to distance myself."
"Of course I trust that, or like you said, I never would've said anything. This conversation would be going in a completely different way actually. The problem is that I do trust you, even though I don't know your true motives." He informed her, his tone untrusting, but willing to accept her. He sucked in a deep breath, before meeting her eyes again. " I trust you enough to never hurt you. That I do know."
âYou did run, and during that week I was going through hard control, and had no one. My family couldnât be near me. I was locked in the cottage all day, everyday by myself.â She told him. âBut you can age Jake. I canât.â
âI know, and iâm sorry as hell Ness. I wasnât there. I know. But I wasnât safe around you either. You know what I would do if I hurt you?â He questioned. âAnd you know better than anyone that iâm not aging. Youâre stuck with me. Forever.â
âGood, no parties or anything. Promise?â She laughed, before hugging him back. âI can handle that plan. Iâve missed you too Jake. Maybe we should pull out the old bikes or something, we havenât been able to do anything fun since the Volturi showed up.â
He released her from his hold, making a face as he held up his left hand. âI, Jacob Black swear to throw no birthday parties for Isabella Cullen.â He teased, crossing his arms now. âThe Volturi are just sucking the life out of this place you know? But iâm down to do anything, for old times sake?â
Renesmee looked at him crossing her arms. âYou are in no place to ask questions, you ran away.â She told him. âBirthdays are easier when you actually age, Iâm stuck at this physical age forever.â
He exhaled a sigh. Of course she was mad. "I didn't run. It's..it's complicated." He shrugged. "I don't age either and I like birthdays just fine.
âNope, sheâll be on my side. She hates birthdays as much as I do. I definitely wouldnât miss you if you tried to throw me a party, I think I could close that chapter in my life.â
"Aww whatever Bella." He laughed. "Fine, no parties, and no presents. But at least spend some time with your best friend huh? I miss you so much." He sniffled playfully, hugging the female tightly.
âYou would think being the new girl at school and your birthday being on the weekend would help people at school forget about it. But no. Everyone remembered my birthday. Even people I donât really know.â
"What's with you and your mother and birthdays? You being alive for another year is something to be happy about."
She was watching him carefully. Something was clearly eating away at him. The first time sheâd seen him, he had been consumed by his anger and frustration, but this was different. This was⊠not sadness exactly, but perhaps shame?
She took a step closer while she listened, closing the distance between them. âNow why would they do that?â she asked, folding her hands together. She had her power back, and she felt the uncontrollable urge to reach out and gift it to him, simply because seeing him so guilty was painful. âFor leaving? Surely theyâll understand you not wanting to hurt anyone. â
He looked up, meeting her eyes. Her attempts to clear his conscious was nearly falling on deaf ears. "I'm a leader. Leaders don't just up and leave when things get tough. People look up to me." He shook his head. Why was he even telling her this? Not like she cared. It wasn't her problem.
As she closed the distance between them, he narrowed his eyes to slits. He already knew what her motives were. She wanted to remove his worries, make him calm again. But that would only mask the problem. "Why?" He asked of her, as she now stood right in front of him. "Why do you even care?"
âOh Iâve given them plenty of chances, I usually just end up on the floor from some kind of injury. âYou do that and Iâm changing the locks.â
"They can't help that you're clumsy. And Change the locks if you want. Nessie would spring me in a heartbeat. And plus, you'd miss me after awhile. I'm not worried."
âYouâve known me for how long now, and you still have to ask that? You know me and birthdays donât get along very well Jake. Something crazy always happens.âÂ
"Aww c'mon, you don't give them a chance that's why. How about I throw a party and invite all of Forks? We can even invite the witches!" He teased with a grin.
Malina stuck her head in the trash bin near her and started to throw up. The Metallica taste in her mouth still fresh as she tasted her own blood when she saw a figure standing besides her. ââYou wouldnât happen to have a napkin would you?â She asked weak as she looked up.
The shifter tensed, looking over his shoulder to see if he was the only one witnessing this. As soon as he was sure they were alone, he kneeled beside the girl, doing his best not to inhale the scent of blood and vomit. "I don't, but are you alright there? That's uh..pretty gross." He commented, as if she didn't already know that.
