Okay, this one had a super long story as to why it looks as bad as it does. Here's a vague list-like summary to put together as you will:

Yo, I'm still fresh with the "It" fandom, and I love Reddie, but

I'm kinda confused. I keep reading fics, like, REALLY good fics, and I know that we like to ignore the cannon sometimes, but why is Richie always displayed as this totally open guy who has had boyfriends in the past? Like, his biggest fear--at least prominently in "It: Chapter 2"--had to do with him being outed/coming to terms with his sexuality. I don't have a problem with fics portraying him as open and out, I'd just like to read a couple that focuses a bit more on accepting who he is.

In short: If anyone could recommend some Reddie fics, or really anything, with an extremely closeted Richie, that would be very cash-money, thanks.
