// yo. I had a very long nand fun run roleplaying on this account but sad to say, as much as I loved everyone and Masato, as well as utapri, it die out on me and I dont know if I will return to doing roleplaying again. It doesnt seem like it’ll be the case anytime near the future so I have turned this into an archived blog.

Having gotten the other awake rather quickly he managed to make it to class quite early and took a seat, only to regret it because the girls of the class were talking loudly about him; he just hoped they wouldnt try getting close to him in that manner. He didnt want to deal with such stuff at the moment…
The classes went by and they met Ringo-sensei, which was quite the character. Oh dear, what was this year gonna be like he couldnt help but wonder. Now that it was lunch break he was able to find a place to sit in the garden with a bag of fresh melonpans in his hands.
—It was very easy to see Ren as the Greek God Narcissus, the way he left his uniform messily hanging off him to let his body stay free from a choking tie as girls hung off either arm. They trailed after him like his own little herd, as he went on and on about how gorgeous they all were, answering questions with an inhuman amount of suave.
Of course, when one is in this state of foggy confidence, they say and do stupid things. Such as approach their rival with amused eyes and arrogance on his lips with intentions to stir things up for the sake of showmanship.
“Eating alone, hm?”
How shameless, firstly the other was being terribly rude with his actions and... he had that many girls around him swooning at him which felt sick in the stomach. It was all fake and it made him feel awful at seeing the other like this.
Also didnt help the girls were awfully... he didnt even know how to explain. Calling it slutty might be a bit too much and he had no idea how else to explain it. Shaking the idea off he simply nodded at his shameless roommate.
“I plan to stay that way...”

He had to look away somewhat embaressed, in reality he hadnt even noticed he had slipped up aswell. He had just said it reflexively and knowing he did was embaressing and he made a move to quickly leave the room.
“W-well, now that youre fully awake you can get ready before its late. Take care” He escaped the room quickly before Ren could say anything.
—”Lame…” Ren said to himself, only standing once Masato had left. He had no idea where that kind of behavior came from, but it was a rare sight to see him flustered. He really didn’t get it. If anything, Ren figured he would have gotten yelled at for being so informal with his rival.
…Well, whatever. He might as well go to class. He’s already wide awake.

He shook his head disapprovingly; the other was gonna be late- he did a double take hearing his first name but shrugged it off. Guess the other was too sleepy to even notice he had called him Masato.
“Get up Ren. You’re gonna get in trouble.” he walked over to Ren’s side to lightly touch the sleeping roommate’s shoulder
—Immediately, Ren’s back arched away from the touch. He rubbed sleep from his watering eyes, fingers sweeping knowingly over the dark circles under his lids. “That so?” he mumbled.
He took a moment to let his vision clear–as much as it could, anyways. The wheels in his head began to turn slowly. “ ‘Ren’,” He repeated with a tinge of amusement in his voice, one of his eyebrows quirking as he looked to Masato with questioning. His had been a slip of the tongue, yet Masato was fully aware, and made the conscious decision.

“…” He didnt Ren being such a deep sleeper; then again the other didnt get any sleep. A part of him wanted to wake up and lecture the other just like a mother would but he didnt have time for that.
“Jinguji, wake up.” He was louder this time but still hadnt moved from where he was standing.
—He definitely heard that. Not the first thing he wanted to hear when he woke up, but whatever. Ren groggily rolled over onto his stomach and shoved his head under his pillow. “…hush, Masa,” He barely slurred out his first name, formalities being the last thing on his mind.

He woke up beyond tired but he had to shake it off and get ready. Yawning silently and stretching his arms, he looked over at Ren’s side and saw the other hadnt even budged.
Getting up to go wash his face and take a quick shower and getting completely ready in under ten minutes he looked at Ren again, still wasnt up.
“… Jinguuji?” He called from his side of the room, not wanting to go over.
—Nope. Not a single muscle was moved. He looked practically dead. He might as well be if he has to keep attending school here. He just had to miss enough class to be sent home…and all would be right in the world.
“. . .” He didnt Ren being such a deep sleeper; then again the other didnt get any sleep. A part of him wanted to wake up and lecture the other just like a mother would but he didnt have time for that.

Hoping the other would notice he shuffled around in his bed quite noisily, but he wondered if that would even be enough. Guess he just had to buy ear plugs for tomorrow. Or somehow talk to him about it without seeming rude.
—It took Ren another solid ten minutes before he flipped off his light and passed out on his bed. And he slept heavy like a rock for three and a half hours. Until his alarm went off to signify the starting of classes for the year.
Well. Another five minutes of sleep wouldn’t hurt him.

After doing 2 more caligraphy works he was satisfied for now and set his items away, neatly back into their boxes and put them away so that he could get ready to sleep. Ren didnt look like he would anytime soon; but he hoped to atleast get some himself. The touring had made him somewhat tired and he couldnt help but yawn as he went to the bathroom to wash his face and come back in a yukata he could sleep in.
“Night Jinguuji.” was all he said as he sat on his bed and closed the light on his half of the room.
—Ren, in theory, was the perfect roommate. He kept to himself and hated leaving a mess (his own room was a different story). Though in theory, that meant Ren slept like a normal person. Which he didn’t.
The night began with him returning from the showers with his pajama bottoms. He sat down and read a book for a solid hour and a half. Once it turned one, he got a drink (with loud feet no one ever bothered to tell him about) and flopped back down onto his bed and switched to a French book, with frequent text breaks signaled by faint buzzing. He was talking to a girl he met on a trip to America. Once he got bored of that, (at four in the morning) Ren played a game on his phone. And hummed to himself without realizing it.
He was awful to live with.

That was Ren’s forte afterall, but if he remembered correctly… Wasnt Hayato more charming to… kids? The younger generation? If his twin was like that then Ren shouldnt have any competition afterall.
He kept his thoughts to himself and could only shrug at the other.
—Well, that was enough of that. He didn’t have much else he wanted to say to Masato. Or rather–he shouldn’t bother. Trying to get goody-goody with him would just cause his brother to call him up to scold him.
He didn’t really want to catch up with him, either. It would just be awkward, stiff conversation filled with weird pauses and painful memories being drugged up. Which he definitely could do without. Ren sighed and plugged his phone into its charger, grabbing a towel to slip away for a shower. God knows he hated having them in the morning. He wondered how long it would take before he drove Masato crazy with his night owl tenancies. Showers at 11 at night, food at one in the morning, bathroom breaks up until dawn, before he passed out for three or four hours at the most.

“… Right. Whatever you say Jinguuji.” The other made no sense and that was his queue to sit back to hid old position and to grab his brush to dip in ink and dry a tad bit to be able to drag across the paper.
—Ren tries to ignore the dry response. “HAYATO’s brother is going to be big competition for someone like me, who thrives off of swooning lovely ladies. I’ll have to be especially careful.”

—”Well…I mean…it’s not really any of my business.” Ren defended himself a little too quickly. He could definitely pull off a laid back attitude around the guy, but he was bound to slip up and say something stupid one way or another.
“Plus…somehow I would feel like I’m losing.”

—”Well, maybe because HAYATO has claimed up until a week ago to be an only child. He said that it was to protect his identity, but considering it’s his twin…” Ren paused, realizing he sounded like an idiot, and quickly added on, “…or at least, so I’ve heard.”
He felt like he was very narrowly avoiding the fact that he was a fan of a cheesy pop star.

—Ren glanced down at his phone one last time before locking the screen and setting it aside. “…well, apparently, HAYATO’s brother will be joining Class S with me.”
He couldn’t help but sigh sharply at the idea. As much as he would like to believe that… “Sounds a bit fishy, but I guess we’ll see.” God knows he knew was it was like to have a brother outshine them.

—”Someone’s gonna get in trouble for that kind of behavior~” Ren used his bare foot to hit the wall a few times in a nonverbal warning, and they seemed to quiet down. On day one, this was happening? How awful.
After a few moments, Ren flipped himself upright, his hair messily falling back in place. “Ah. Did you hear who’s going to be attending the school this year?”
