Hello!! Welcome back! I first found your art through lupin but have enjoyed following you for so much more than that. I love the colours you use in your colour pieces, but equally love how you do grey scale, especially when the different shades have textures to them. I like how you draw body hair, Jigen, and of your original art, my two favourites are the Friulian boar and The Night Battle. Hope you're well :)

I've been doing linocuts on and off for years, it's my favourite form of printmaking/alternative-to-drawing-image-making I think, and when I upgraded to some nicer tools, I naturally got curious about woodcutting, and the differences in how the carving process works.

when I was taking my leatherworking course at the makerspace my friend works in, they had a bin full of very nice fine-grain offcuts of birch, and I gave it a shot! I really love the fine texture it gives to the final prints, and its had me dig into my nice japanese paper stores I've collected over the years. <3

Leatherworking, I've always admired folk's work at local kink/queer markets I've gone to, and took a one-afternoon Tandy class ages ago, so I decided I wanted a bit more indepth look at it! I've really been enjoying taking the visuals of leatherkink that I've admired and have been incorporating into my drawing/printmaking, and figure out how to make those possibly a reality! It really stretches a different muscle in my brain that gets me excited to create, as drawing's been a bit of an...overworked muscle lately lol
