Nico sat in the dark forest, staring at the stars. The war was finally over, after much bloodshed, Olympus was saved. He took a deep breath and began summoning Bianca. Then, as he stumbled from the exhaustion, he saw a light, a light that transformed into a huntress, Bianca, Bianca Di Angelo.
“Hey, Nico.” Said Bianca, waving.
Nico tried to smile. “Hey, Bi, it’s been awhile, hasn’t it?”
Bianca smiled, “Yes, it has been. Also, I’m now aware that you won the titan war?”
Nico sat down on a rock and stared at his reflection in the shallow lake of water. “Well, yes, but it just feels… incomplete.”
“Oh? Does it really? And is there a specific reason for this?” She asked, her ghostly form sitting next to him.
Nico sighed and fiddled with his knife. “I don’t know, it just feels like… it isn’t over. Something bigger is going to happen.”
“Hmm… that’s interesting. Well, just remember, even if I’m not alive, even if I’m choosing rebirth… I’ll always be there for you, in your heart.” She said, fading.
Nico’s eyes widened. “No- no. You don’t mean it.”
She chuckled sadly and put her translucent hand on his shoulder. “Oh, I mean it, Nico. I’ll always love you and… who knows? Maybe one day our paths will cross again.”
“What- no!” Sobbed Nico as he failed to grab onto her, I mean, it was pretty pointless since she was a ghost.
“I love you Nico, I’ll always be with you in spirit.”
Then she faded away, leaving Nico in the forest alone.
