If anyone has seen this episode they know how powerful it is. To all the boys out there who think they can tell me I’m good at volleyball “For a girl.” And I can serve pretty well “For a girl.” SHUT. UP. (I mean have you seen those guys just punch the ball? That’s not even legal.) Anyway, my point is, that it’s not cool. As a matter of fact, this year 24 girls got fitness awards and only 14 boys did. Yeah. I run like a girl. I play like a girl. I throw like a girl. Well, that’s pretty good, considering Sabrina Williams, Gabi Douglas, Amanda Beard, Diana Taurisi, Gabrielle Reece, etc. I bet you guys probably don’t know who some of them are. That’s because the world doesn’t like to advertise the “Best female basketball player of 2016” or the “Most decorated Olympic female” No one acknowledges that kind of stuff. But they should. Don’t get me started on smarts. I mean, I don’t want to toot my own horn, but I WON the city spelling bee, was in math and spell bowl, had all A’s all year, and yet all the boys think this other kid who can draw is the smartest kid in the class. As if. Sorry if I got bitter about myself there, but this goes for all the girls of the world, Be yourself, don’t listen to people like the ones listed above, and most importantly RUN, PLAY, SERVE, SWIM, SCREAM, HIT, THROW, CATCH, BE AMAZING like the girl you are.💜
