Alexandra Wiwcharuk: The Girl in Saskatoon

On May 18, 1962, 23-year-old Alexandra Wiwcharuk didn't show up at work. 13 days later, her body was found. She had been buried alive.

From 1944-1949, John George Haigh, also known as the Acid Bath Murderer, killed 5 people, dissolving their body in vats of acid. He believed no body = no crime.

Do you remember that scene in Breaking Bad, where Jesse Pinkman used acid to dissolve a body? Mythbusters actually did an episode where they tried to prove or disprove the science behind it. While they concluded that the acid/methods used in Breaking Bad did not quite get the job done, murderer John Haigh did use a method that worked. We know him as the Acid Bath Murderer. The chupacabra is often described as having greenish-gray skin and sharp spines or quills on its back. What is the chupacabra, and should we be afraid?

When I hear about the chupacabra, I immediately think of some ancient, mysterious, creature. I think of things like Acheri, or Walking Sam – myths and legends that are hundreds of years old.
